As I see it the inside lane wasn't much of a factor. The outside lane gained more momentum coming out of the first corner. A majority of the time the outside lane was ahead.

Spoilers ahead . . . . . Glad to see Fujiwara making the finals! Doc put up a good fight with better straight-line speed but ultimately failed to produce the times he got in qualifying and the first round, leading to his elimination. There was no doubt that Terry Hill would win the championship though. He rarely finished slower than 16.5 seconds in the entire championship, a time that is unreachable to most other cars. That plus his stability meant that he was way ahead of everyone else and was able to win the title without losing a single race. Very impressive, looking forward to his performances in the future!

It was very apparent that the center diff settings were optimized on the 'Bishi, with exceptional tracking through the turns and strong corner exit speed. Too much front bias on the 'Sube scrubbed speed on entry and upset turn-in capability. It is well-known that lack of an adjustable center diff was a weak point of early STi cars.

Oh my goodness, I just found this channel a few days ago and watched all of DRC 2020 so far, KoTM 2020, Ferrari Tournament, and Classic Stock Car Tournament within that time. Being that I was in a different time zone and new to the channel, I was waiting all week for this. I was not disappointed.
