It's a projector. I was blown away in the first episode and it's still impressive. The giveaway is the screen-door look when there's a closeup of the field and the chromatic aberration in the slow mo shots. Other than those, 20/10 most impressive thing ive seen on this channel.

Guy 1: Remove the tires, they are causing way too many interferences. Guy 2: Love the tires, it adds that extra amount of craziness. Duality of man. Personally I like the tires, keep them.

It wasnt meant to come along saying that the content isnt good, quite the difference actually. The thing is i am sitting here watching a Die cast demolition derby, a demolition derby is action packed there is no doubt about it, the Die cast part however basically removes everything that makes a demo derby. And still they manage to make it awesome, with like Josh said the effort that they are putting into the production the overall look of the channel and of course their commentary. So yeah... i personally preffer what they are doing here over races on tv because here its way more fun.

A lot of hate for the tires in the course; but I actually like the idea of "playing the tires where they lie". It IS a demolition derby after all. Besides, the Crazy Bros and Badd Rabbit had tires in their way too: it didn't seem to hurt them any. If you look at 2:18 you'll see that Crazy James had a pretty hefty tire hazard to go through; and he handled it like the boss that he is. 5:35 - I think Wreck It Wanda needs to paint a middle finger salute on the underside of her hood so when it pops up it actually IS giving the other driver the finger.
