I'll see what I can do. The trouble is getting past the initial quirks of the interface. Like all parametric modellers, it requires a fair bit of explanation. This is why I normally recommend just taking one of my short courses or one-to-one training sessions.

Create a cross section for the sweep using 1 straight line in sketch for the side you're going to set the stones or pull curves off of. Close the line using open symmetrical curve then run the sweep. When you go to pull the curve from the surface in it'll be dead center every time. Very clean build and good looking design.

@@CADJewellerySkills I had to leave the jewelry store I was working at when cv19 hit. Was there for 15 years, I know that program in and out. It's such a wonderful interface and the way sketch mode is integrated into the building of solids any shape is achievable. I miss it dearly. You run it extremely well and it's obvious you understand how it "thinks". Clean builds are paramount for late stage boolean operations, when I was training others that was the hardest part to covey. Are you just designing or are you involved in the whole creation process?

I teach jewellery CAD for a living. 3Design is one package I teach, but I've been studying all the major ones for about 16 years now, and teach them all as developer-certified courses. When buying this program, you should know that it will take 5-6 years for you to turn it off. I bought version 8 in 2016, in April 2022 it stopped working. When I asked why I couldn't open my program, I was told that I had to pay $1,800 to upgrade to a newer version. When buying this product, you should know that you pay for the program for 5-6 years, after this period all your work will be lost.
