What brand of pen do you use? My daughter (12) has been thru a few and we get just so frustrated with them. They just dont work well at all. Thanks! Everything looks amazing

Thank you very much Patti. The pen that I use is 3D Simo Multipro you could find it in the description. Any cheap pen last from 1 to 6 months depending on the usage. The best way it to use the pen for 10-20 mins and let it cool down completely because they heat from 160 up to 230c degrees. If you have any other questions you can also ask on discord.

Thank you, yes. It usually works with any 3d pen that is compatible with PLA plastic. I've also used wood on 3d simo in this video as well to make the stand base if you notice.

I recommend painting over the 3d printed parts instead of just using plastic colour! nevertheless awesome!!!!

Thank you, i am trying to keep the original color just to favor the 3d pen. I use paint for shadows if necessary, but i'd like to try to fully paint the figure with brush or spray sometime in my next models.

Yes, its actually an extension that works as burning tool, same goes for 3d pen and soldering too. Its the 3d simo tool that allows you to swap extensions depending on your needs.
