Just WOW! Many thanks for this guide! This is exactly what is missing whenever I work with Chaos Vantage with max, because Cosmos doesn't allow custom models or materials, and I had to look for my assets manually wasting a lot of time during the workflow. The plugin ability for creating proxies in scene is so amazing! I've doing that manually all the time! This is so awesome! Thank you!

@@3d-kstudio very helpful indeed! but before testing it I wished to know if it's possible to adjust any path because my C hdd is deepfreezed, and I assume it'll loose everything done after reboot. Is it possible? Thank you!

@@3d-kstudio oh, I mean any path that the plugin uses to store its database or index )or whatever it uses to remember what you´ve been working on. I guess the plugin stores its ongoing asset management in the system´s disk, and that would be a problem in my case, because my computer is deepfreezed and Project Manager will lose what I did last session every time I reboot the computer. Has it a way to re route its indexation to another disk other than C (system)?

@@Carolina-mw4po You can set a custom path to the images cache and database. But in your case, I recommend testing how it works before buying. Usually working with assets requires normal user privileges

Hi, i guess you can do a video on how do we organize our files first in file explorer before we connect it with project manager. For example, say car category, do we put all the carXX.max file (with preview) in one folder and their maps in another sub-folder? or we keep the carXX.max files together in their own folders with textures maps? From my testing, different file path will affect how I browse the cars model in the project manager. I go through a lot of your videos and still feel fairly confuse with the very fundamental file organization in file explorer and I scare to accidentally remove or replace any maps as it is impossible to track which if it happens.

Can someone please recommend a really great tutorial to GET STARTED using Project Manager ? This video dives in and assumes you already know how to use it.

If 2 different model have the same texture name and same map folder then how to solve this. Because if I replace then any model has to lose its real texture!
