3DS Rainbow Road Custom Track - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

After exports from Mario Kart 7 and many hours of work, here is a V1 of my port of the Rainbow Road from the 3DS to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (the gameplay is taken from the yuzu emulator with the 21:9 mod).
I tried to be as faithful as possible to its original version with the little experience I had :)

Just a few suggestions: - I hope the cylinder still rotates so that it remains faithful to the original - The section leading to the moon is wavy so you can trick off it. - The boost panels on the Saturn section were glowing. - Anti-grav on the moon. Other than that, GREAT WORK I WISH THE DLC WERE THIS GOOD SOMEHOW!

Nintendo announced, that the Mario Kart 7 Rainbow Road will be included in the DLC‘s. I still think that your version captures the vibe of the track better, as it looks exactly like on the 3Ds, just with higher resolution. Nice work!

My picks on where Anti-grav can be added. -Saturn's rings but the angle of the rings be changed to be much steeper -The moon, but the activation of the anti-gravity starts just at the part where the road leading to it normally ripples, the moon part needs to have lower gravity -the cylinder

Here's what I've noticed: - I've noticed the forward conveyors after the lap 3/3 gate use a booster collision, instead of a 'push forward' type collision (the rivers in some tracks has a push forward collision) - Both 7 and Tour use the push forward collision, but MK7 also has a sound effect added to them as well - 3DS Rainbow Road uses two streamed audio data, instead of one, because there's an area box on the moon that lowers the volume of one stream and turns up the other - I could also suggest reusing the Chomp model and create an animation and behaviour in where one moves around in a circle and the other moves towards and jumps across the crater, like in MK7 and Tour, rather than bouncing all the time Also, just a small suggestion, I've noticed Tour's model may have updated mesh but it is also faithful to the original and can be used as a base to rework and to retexture to make it more MK8 style of detail.

Idk anything about mario kart modding, and as someone who loved this on the 3ds, i think it holds up surprisingly well! One suggestion could maybe be to technically make the moon ''underwater''..? So it kinda has that floaty moon physics thing going on? Other than that it looks awesome, altho i'd love to see that rainbow cylinder thing spin :P. One more thing, mario galaxy has a ship that looks almost the same as those 3 spaceships, only more detailed! Literally just thought of that while typing lol

One thing you could try, if making the cylinder rotate is too ASMy, would be to give the cylinder full 360 Anti-Grav instead.
