What a great video! I know you are an excellent teacher. I to homeschooled my girls because my oldest daughter is dyslexic and was not getting the education I felt she needed. My oldest my son chose to continue to go to public school. I enjoyed homeschooling. We could study their interest, slow down with new concepts, and truly learn. All of my kids have great careers and are good people. Proud mom moment. ☺️ Have a great day! 🤟🏻

Very informative video! I love how you are homeschooling your children. It takes a lot of time and patience and persistence but so important! We are all so blessed to have a Heavenly Father who we can have a one-on-one conversation with! I recommend The Ross Hat to knit. My go-to❤️

I’m trying to teach myself to knit, and…it’s not pretty. 🤣 I’m not giving up, but, like you, I’m shelving it till I can finish a few crochet projects. It’s taking more time than I anticipated; feels kinda like if I were crocheting with my wrists or something. Looks easy in my mind, but doesn’t translate to my hands, haha. Wishing you much luck with your hat; I’m sure you’ll do great. (I homeschooled for many, many years. it was both beautiufl and hard, all at once.)

Hi Mary! This was quite interesting! If you would explain what lowfi music is, that would answer my question. And you may find knitting in the round preferable to flat as I did. Also, I can knit a hat faster than I can crochet one, but I learned to knit a decade or so ago and have crocheted since I was nine. Peace and Blessings dear one 🌻🧶

HI, sweet friend! I would describe Lofi as "ambient electronic", maybe? It's not meant to make you dance or to make your spirit soar, but it's not meant to put you to sleep, either. I would compare it to the feel of a stream after a rainstorm - a sort of blend of activity and peacefulness. Hope that helps! And I am so encouraged to hear that you found knitting in the round to go much faster for you! That makes me feel less intimidated, for sure! 💗💓

I’ve got a SUPER random question for you! If you are (or maybe even aren’t but COULD be) in a co-op, what would you choose to teach there? I feel like our choices in classes say a lot about us as people. 😂 For example, I teach high schoolers British literature and crochet! I also choreograph elementary show choir and snuggle babies in the nursery when my teaching schedule allows. I think if we lived near each other we’d be “real-life” friends, I’m just saying. 😊

Hi, darlin'! We aren't in a co-op at the moment, but I think it would be fun to teach home ec in general! Maybe a lot of homeschoolers are already learning those skills, but if not, I'm would be happy to demystify sewing buttons or hemming jeans or making choux pastry or keeping to a budget! And yes, I know we would be friends if we were closer! 💞💕

Hi, friend!! 💕💞 Thanks for asking! There's quite a bit of diversity in the accents in the South, some more distinct than others, but we can lay it on or turn it off, depending on the company we're keeping. My accent gets thicker around family, friends, and neighbors. I try to smooth it out on camera! 💕
