Fun fact! Ghidorah actually had three motion capture actors for each of his heads working in unison. The heads also have nicknames. Ichi (meaning 1 in Japanese) for the middle. Ni (meaning 2) for the right head. San (meaning 3) for the left, though fans nicknamed this head Kevin, which Legendary made official. Each of the heads also has their own personality, with Ichi being the dominant leader, Ni being aggressive, and Kevin being curious.

They don't make it clear but the bomb Serizawa detonates isn't a singular nuclear bomb, it contains multiple warheads. And he absorbed 100% of it and even had to shoot the beam into the sky just to dissipate the energy. Normally he'd have time to digest radiation but he couldn't as Ghidorah had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Just to clear things up, timeline and character wise. The movies happen in this order. - kong skull island opening scene 1940s - kong skull island 1970s - godzilla opening scene 1999 - godzilla 2014 - king of the monsters opening scene (literally the muto vs godzilla battle in 2014) - king of the monsters 2019 All other movies happen after 2019. Characters - Humans don't matter yet. The only important one is Jia or Gia but she comes later. - MUTOs (the mating monsters from godzilla) - Mothra (the giant moth in this movie) - Rodan (the fire bird) - Ghidorah, Monster 0 (the alien hydra dragon) - behemoth (the mammoth sloth) - Barbara (the Queen Muto that bows to goji) - Methusela (the walking mountain) - Scylla (the crab thing)

Rodan was one of the first monster movies in color. The weapon the government used to attack Godzilla was the oxygen destroyer is the same weapon that killed him in the original 1954 Godzilla film. Yes Godzilla was going to die because of the excess radiation he absorbed from the nuke not because it was too much radiation for his body to handle bit it's was do to the excess radiation absorb simultaneously because generally Godzilla absorbs radiation slowly that dissipated within his body which causes him to evolve but due to the unnatural source and method him evolution was achieved which made him bigger he was going to explode if it wasn't for mothra sacrificing herself and giving her energy manipulation abilities to him. Which Godzilla was able to dissipate the extra energy that created his burning form with a pulse that if you haven't noticed half mothra within every pulse of its release.

The exact timeline up to this point goes as follows 1946 Monarch is founded due to the discovery of Godzilla. 1954 The U.S. military attempts to kill Godzilla and cover it up as bomb testing in the bikini atoll. 1973 Monarch is losing funding and so goes to investigate the newly discovered Skull Island to prove themselves to the U.S. government (Events of Kong Skull Island take place) 1999 Monarch discovers the Muto eggs in the Philippines, but one escapes to Japan and cocoons there in a nuclear power plant but is then contained while the other is put in nuclear waste storage in Navada. 2014 The Muto in Japan escapes. (Events of Godzilla take place) 2019 Terrorists group attacks Monarch and releases Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah from containment (This film Godzilla King of the Monsters take place) That was long winded and I may have made a mistake or two in this time-line but this is generally how the over arching plot goes

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is just awesome! Sure, it has its issues, but I ended up enjoying it for the most part, especially when it came to the monster action. I do wish Mothra got more screen time and more to do in the fights, but you can definitely tell that the director who helmed this film is a Godzilla fan, based on the stuff from the Toho era, which I recognized immediately.

Seeing Godzilla Mothra Rodan and King Ghidorah together in a modern movie and hearing the classic Godzilla and Mothra themes is every Goji fans dream come true 🔥🔥🔥. 1:02:02 that's the Showa era mostly around the mid 60s going to the 70s that's when Godzilla was a full on good guy. The rest of the time depending on the continuity and movie he's been a antihero or a full on villain. 1:03:40 you clearly didn't listen the temple is highly radioactive and is super hot being close to the earths core. Dr sereizawa is a dead man. 1:05:40 those are his spikes from the 1954 movie. 1:11:25 just because Godzilla eats radiation doesn't mean he can handle a ton of it. Remember he was already absorbing a lot of radiation from the temple then the nuclear bomb happened. In other words too much radiation is not a good thing for him. Watch Godzilla vs Destroyah you'll see my point. 1:18:03 yeah it's tradition for Mothra to die in these movies she rearly survives a movie. But as long as there's a egg she lays before going into battle she'll definitely come back

The Oxygen Destroyer is a weapon that was used in the 1954 film to kill Godzilla. It does exactly what the name implies: basically delete every atom of oxygen within a certain radius. Ghidorah survived because its alien nature means that it doesn't need oxygen to function. Plus, the weapon killing all those fish robbed the local fishermen of their source of income, which is why they were desperate enough to sell the head. Plus, the movie's creators have confirmed that Godzilla would've won if the army didn't intervene. So yeah. The army screwed up royal.

He survives the oxygen destroyer (from the 1954 original), the burning form (Godzilla vs Destoroyah), and was beaten to death then was resurrected by another flying monster (Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2, and was resurrected by Rodan instead of Mothra).

The official title for Godzilla's final form that he defeats Ghidorah with is Burning Godzilla. Basically what happened is Godzilla was about to explode, but when he absorbed Mothra's lifeforce after she sacrificed herself, her lifeforce stabilized the excess nuclear energy and made his transformation into Burning Godzilla possible. As excited as I was to see Burning Godzilla in this film, I ended up being disappointed as well, because after the scene was over, my reaction was, "Dammit, I wanted to see the Spiral Atomic Breath!". To explain, Godzilla's signature ability when he's in Burning form is known as the Spiral Atomic Breath: His Atomic Breath turns red and spins in a spiral like a corkscrew or drill as it flies through the air.

That is the burning Godzilla, one time you get to see it in Godzilla vs destroyah (I think is how you spell it) godzillas heart is going out basically a nuclear meltdown and you see just how destructive he is, there is lightning in his breath and is the one time (one of very few times we see Godzilla die)

One is kiryu and the final boss name Destroya, maybe on godzilla 3 or godzilla x kong 3 will be destroya, not confirm about destroya but godzilla 3 hads officially confirmed for 2026

Godzilla 2014 intro started in 1999 Philippines, but the main setting after Ford grew up it was 2014. Kong skull island was a prequel in the 70's. The (dad's mothra from 2014) thing on the side of the glass was just a fun Easter egg. It was not implying that the muto was mothra. The mutos we're an original creature made for G 2014. Ghidorah is an alien If Godzilla absorbs to much radiation too fast his body becomes unstable from the nuclear fission reactions unless he can properly vent it he would overload. Even though he can spit it out his mouth it's not enough to save him. Mothra have him a way to safely vent his radiation

Aside from Emma, the only part of this Movie that upset me was Serizawa's Sacrifice. I know he wanted to see Godzilla face to face. But I just feel like there were more expendable people than the Godzilla Expert. I think Godzilla is definitely Water/Dragon. Mothra Bug/Fairy or Bug/Psychic. Rodan Fire/Flying, Fire/Dragon, or Fire/Dark. Ghidorah is Dragon/Electric for sure. Kong is pure Fighting.
