Guys!!! welcome to this wonderful world!!! The first walkers (those from the first outbreak) are hard to cross because they are still relatively “fresh” The more time passes the skin and bones loosen as well. And yes, the freshest ones retain some memory but it also disappears as they rot. In the end they only retain the need to eat and nothing else.

Fear the walking dead is a spinoff of the walking dead. The masking of scents using the dead is not an idea from fear the walking dead. This show came first. It is much much better than fear the walking dead. I struggled to finish fear the walking dead. Also general zombies are plain and do not pick things up or climb ladders or hop fences. This was in the show as an idea for some... a few able to do these things. It was basically left out of the show for a while and brought back later where "varient" zombies can do extra things this is more noticeable in other spin offs as well

Beside the spectacular 1st episode I began to appreciate the writing of the show. It's written in such a way respects the viewers' general intelligence. They did make a game. It was called The Walking Dead Destinies and it was bad. It had an interesting premise where you could decide who lives and who dies. If you do check it out, I would say wait until season 4 and only get it when it goes on sale. But even then, I wouldn't recommend it.

Season 1 was basically an experiment to see if people would latch on, which is why there’s so many inconsistencies and unrealistic zombie logic lol after season 2 they fix the problem and it stays 95% realistic 😂 that last 5% is exaggerated to keep the show entertaining
