I have the 9002 and the new 9100fx both good air helmets but i love the latest technology from from Adflo comfortable helmet.

I use this helmet as a welder and i like very much, but when you work in cold weater you get cold air on your face which is very unpleasant for a whole day. I wish it was posible to adjust the airflow in a more precice way using a steppless system? otherwise a really good product that every welder should have.

I have an Adflo unit along with a 3M M300 helmet. Would I get adequate protection in a carpentry workshop with the particular filter and the prefilter fitted?

Yes The filter filters everything dangerous to u other then gas

just bought the 9100 fx with adflo turbo. when I turn it on it has the two green lights by the on button and only blows one speed. I was under the understanding that there were two different speeds (170) and (200)

i have the same thing i contacted the m3 and they told me that in north america 9100fx with adflo turbo works 200 litters per minute 2 green lights 170 for the rest of the world so you cant adjust the speed of dflo turbo

Hi bentlikeitsmaker, thank you for your question. The original 3M Adflo Powered Air Respirator can be upgraded with a new Li-Ion battery - but you also need to use a Li-Ion battery charger. Where are you based? If you are in the UK, you can buy a new Li-Ion battery, Li-Ion battery charger and a Particle Filter and Pre-Filter in one kit at a special price - you just need to order part number 837635

I don't think we had that many options here in US.... (where to buy it) and is expensive.... I've been trying to buy the 9100 FX but Im soo confuse between the hard head and the regular one, I don't know the difference.... , nobody has the welding helmet on display..soo its frustrating ....

What the difference between new Black Adflo and old Grey ? The difference is just in color and lithium battery? Or in something else ? Thank you

Hi Tim, Yes, that's correct. The new 3M Adflo Powered Air Respirator has a black filter cover and features a Lithium Ion battery which makes the whole unit around 17% lighter. Please let us know if you have any other questions :)

Tim Malaševič Hi Tim. Most welders typically use a particulate filter for welding clean mild and stainless steel. There can be an odour associated with this type of activity and as a result many welders also use either a nuisance odour filter or a more heavy duty gas and vapour filter in addition to the particulate filter. If the substrate that is being welded is contaminated with paints or greases etc, then a more thorough investigation would be needed to identify what gases are liberated during the welding process and, as a result, which filter would be most suitable.

herooid1 В Буинске собирали Итальянскую диффузию. Так как сварочные работы проводились в ёмкости. Были закуплены данные маски. После двух дней работы. Все сварщики отказались от них. И работали с обычными полумасками 3М. Плюс много масок вышло из строя.
