It has been 5 months since I had my Bronco wrapped and I thought I would share a review about my thoughts and the quality of the 3M auto wrap. How has it held up in the elements, and will it be sustained under off road conditions?

Hi - the strap looks really nice. Question on the rear door hinges. Did they wrap or paint them in the black matte? It comes from the factory painted and it looks like a challenge to wrap it / thanks

I am sorry to say I am over waiting for my Bronco to get here it's been 14 months I ordered a Jeep Rubicon and I already have a VIN number,I ordered it last week. Dealer told me 6 to 9 weeks.

FWIW - I worked in industrial printing of regulatory/safety signage. I agree - 3M is a leader in that space, however Avery-Dennison is neck-and-neck with 3M from the products I saw, with Avery maybe innovating a bit faster, but 3M having some longer lasting and thicker vinyl substrates available. IMO these are the only two "top-quality" established names in the "vinyl film" space, which is actually much larger than you might think (any label on a bottle that is waterproof is likely a 3m or avery base material in USA at least) Any film product like this actually has a shelf life like makeup products do. They are not meant to sit on a shelf for a couple years and then be applied. "Fresh" polymer-based films will be more flexible, more supple, and have better adhesive performance. They will also not "go bad" as quickly on your vehicle because the age of the adhesive & the conditions it are exposed to are a big factor in how these films are removed. Cheers everyone!

That wrap must be some tuff stuff to hold up to what you have put it thru. Not saying anything bad, just expressing how many times that Bronco has been in the mud and the wrap is holding up👍

Thanks Krista, I went back to look at this older vid cause I am thinking of getting mine fully wrapped now. Hit a deer yesterday and will have to get a new fender and grill (luckily ADD bumper protected me from most of impact), thus thinking of getting aftermarket ADV 5" fenders and then maybe wrapping it instead of painting the entire vehicle. Yes, major mod but hoping ins. will held fund part of it :). Hope your doing well!

Just so you know, you will still have to paint the fenders before wrapping. Sorry to hear about the Bronco :(

On an unrelated note..do you have any regrets at all about going with the 2.3L engine? Trying to decide between a 2.3L manual or the 2.7L, worried if the 2.3 will have enough power to turn 35s and still be quick enough on road. Thanks!

very interesting how well the 3M auto wrap has held up. Good review of the product. I loved the "Bronco Babe" reference!! When I get my Bronco, I'm going to be a "Bronco Babe" also!! Wooohooo!! haha
