Make sure you get extra tape before you leave the hospital. The seal only lasts a couple of hours in the laying down position then it starts running with a loud buzz on and off trying to get a vacuum. If you can sleep standing up like a horse, it works great. Otherwise it makes a super alarm clock.

@@SolventumMedical The system is idiotic. As if they never used this before, no patient education. Absolutely an outrageously stupid product. Laymen have no idea how to handle this.

How stupid is this? I have surgery and they put this thing in and 30 hours later it is full. So what am I supposed to do at 11pm? There isn't any way to drain it so I will have to hope for the best until tomorrow. Such a small amount of blood will fit in it. Maybe 4oz.
