I do love Gnar but I personally prefer Heartsteel or Divine Sunderer in almost all situations. I agree with other comments here: Gnar really shines in the 15-30 min window and then falls off late. Being able to effectively frontline with him is critical to your team's success, and having played Tri Gnar plenty of times, I have to say that you really don't lose that much damage by building these other items, and esp. with Heartsteel, you're essentially all anyone can see on the screen late game in Mega Gnar form, which makes you AMAZINGLY good at front line engage and protecting your carries, but that only matters if you can survive the punishment.

Best combo: When you’re transforming, try to jump on an enemy to bounce into the mega gnar. As you’re landing on the enemy to bounce, use your R to ult them into the wall as youre still bouncing. It’s a really quick process that nearly no one expects and as they are stunned by your ult, proceed with W before the stun runs off = nearly 4 sec stun. By that time you mostly deal so much damage that they either die or waste at least flash to get away from you.

to me this is one of my main top lane in s7 when i reach gold 1 to plat because when i play with cute animal he was i think in meta i'm not sure about that and one of effective team fights...... 😊

Okay less go For a combo that is really difficult to dodge you can hit someone at 98~ fury and immediately jump on them or a minion before them this allows you to get 100 fury midair which allows to use ult in air which is not possible normally. You can easily proc boneplating with Q because usually people hide in minions which shortens the range of Q but doesn't stop it. Most matchups are really hard and ganks early game can ruin your only chance of getting ahead on the enemy Building pure damage is completely wrong (yes kinda obvious) since after some levels your fury is really fast to stack and mega gnar already has high ad + items like BC or Sterak already provide high AD I would call him a failed champion since he was designed as a bully/teamfighter but there are hardly any matchups you win just because you play gnar and the emphasis on riots side is for the small form to be weak and big to be strong but that is rarely the case and there is a slight lean of power on the mini side. Sorry for the rant.

Late game champions are usually determined by their stat scaling and their ability to teamfight along with how much their win rate increases the longer the game goes, Gnar is insane at all of these!
