A beautifully clear introduction to an important problem: how do we best assess stroke patients for their cognition? Stroke was neglected for so long in the UK and we can now be proud of the stroke services that we provide, which are among the best in the world. Within stroke, however, the area of cognition does not receive the attention that it deserves, perhaps because these problems are largely invisible to the casual observer, and perhaps even to the busy clinician. I look forward to seeing your results.
