What I love about truck talk is it takes about 20 minutes and that matches my attention span.

Some of us don't have a lot of family anymore due to death and also lack of relationship. I don't celebrate Christmas because Christ was not born in December straight facts. However I like to spend time with my two grown sons, when they're not with their gf's lol. I love hang out with my friends and laugh really hard which I did last night. I'm glad you guys had a good time 😊. Your guys are such a blessing and you too Mrs Wright! ❤️

Coming from the "older generation "... when I was younger... because I don't consider myself old... retirement was not part of the plan. I loved my job so it wasn't a job. I made more than enough income, extra was to provide for my kids when I was gone. But something strange happened, the world around me started to get older. Soon friends were gone... others were slowed down by age... I had grandkids and I love my time with them. Yet I had friends who couldn't do much . Because age at caught up to them. I RETIRED. People said that I would hate it, go stir crazy all that. Completely the opposite. I spend more time in the gym and keeping in shape. I enjoy time with my grandkids and I can keep up with them. I spend time on the golf course and in the woods. My former profession is one that allows me to do it for me like a hobby. I wish I had retired earlier. I learned that you don't live to work. You work to live. The means to an end. Money means nothing, make it big spend it big. But if your health is poor because you beat yourself up working. You can't di anything. If you die... what was the purpose.... when you are 40 you don't see death in your future. Once you reach 60 and your friends are.... you will reevaluate. You look back and say what was the purpose of all those sacrifices and long hours ? Money... more money... Spend time with family. Take time to enjoy your life. Work to live, don't live to work. He who dies with the most... leaves it all behind. Looking back and saying I wish I..... is to late. Your obligation is to your wife and family. The idea those companies and people can't survive without you... wow that's what James said... stop boasting. But hey just some advice from the older generation. Who has time for a haircut and a shave.... I stay busier retired than I did working full time and it is more enjoyable.

Mr.Gill, long time Maryland Native “As long as you know, two and two makes five”. 💭 I like math and I have struggled with this simple pass down. 💭The x,y axes has 4points of infinite direction… the point at which these two lines cross we know as ZERO (+) level 5, use of force continuem (center mast) 5.0 is a nickname for the police … One more… how many points of reference do you need to find your location on a map Gotta Run

Hello Chad, sounds like a plan. I would imagine a professional chef and his/her crew would run you about $10,000 for all day. You guys deserve it.

This begs the question , what does a wad of toilet paper and the crew of the Star Ship Enterprise have in common? They are both searching for Clingons as they circle Uranus!!

On the subject of Jimmy Carter, I guess it was when he was in the Georgia Senate, my Uncle who was the President or CEO of the Okefenokee Rural Electric Corp. ran into Carter quite often as he had to go discuss matters with congress. He became friends with Carter maybe because they were both WWII Navy veterans and the future President would borrow $10 for lunch almost every day and always pay my uncle back the next day. I didn't agree with President Carter on politics, but I think he was a good Christian man who loved and served the Lord.

Listening to your continues tossing the word "entrepreneur" around makes me laugh. Many great "entrepreneurs " worked a very leisurely lifestyle and enjoyed life. CB, said he gets "ticked off" when someone says or asks if he is retired. Lol, that's ridiculous. Again you work to live, you don't live to work. You mentioned Christmas fatigue. Why, because you would rather be working ? Brooke quizzed you about wealth... define your idea of wealth. More money... and more money... Look back a few generations guys. We enjoyed life, we worked hard. But we came home and we enjoyed our family and church and watching the kids, and raising our kids. Our Christmas bash... was all year every year. Old saying from the military, you work hard so you can play hard. Then take a look at the problems in society and rethink things. Parents to busy working 24/7 to spend time with their kids. Blake mentioned it... before you know it they are grown and gone. You are to old to enjoy things... years 6 comes and you die.... SLOW DOWN AND SMELL THE COFFEE. Success and wealth and happiness can all work together and should. But really look at your so called "entrepreneur " hero's... are they happy ? Are they successful at home ? Do they spend time with their children ? Or are they so preoccupied with work and wealth they are letting life pass them by. They have no idea what their wives and kids are doing... except asking for more money... so essentially they are buying love for their family... kids got a brand new truck Daddy bought it... wife is doing her thing... your never home... but that's all ok because you have money and one day..... yeah Chadd that's not living. But hey you have your name on the door !! .... name on the parking stall... oh.. and you know that employee who makes a "meger living "... he sits at the table at night and listens and laughs with his wife and kids. Goes hunting and fishing with the kids, attends ball games for his kids, takes his wife out for date night, hangs out with his friends and family and attends church...a family man who is wealthy and happy...
