Not a vet but suffer from PTSD and anxiety. My mom committed suicide and I found her. Just saying that to preface my psychological condition. Point is I started getting up at 4:30am, I workout for 45 minutes, and then I walk about 5 miles every morning. I lost a bunch of weight and have put on some good muscle. Physical pain reduced as well. Also that long walk allows time to process. Thank y’all for y’all’s service. From national guard to navy SEALS and first responders, you ladies and gents are amazing. First thing i do is take a cold water shower even in the dead of winter. My life has always been hard. My parents were both narcisists that abused me and my brother. Ive lived through so much shit. These little things that happen in life just dont faze me much anymore. I got knocked out of a derrick working in the oilfield when i was just 18. Fell 35 ft or so broke a lot of bones etc. So i live in a state of constant aches and pains. Im 53 now. So im used to it. Ive also learned i am a sigma male. Even when im dead ass tired and over worked etc. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Sad thing is i can still work harder then a lot of men nowadays. I try to stay in good physical condition. That helps with my mental condition. If your feeling down, dont wallow in it. Find something positive to do. ABOVE ALL BE GRATEFUL FOR THE THINGS YOU HAVE. KEEP A LINE OPEN TO GOD AND WATCH FOR HIS SIGNS. Getting older is what seperates the strong from the weak ive learned. The goal is to make to the end of life with your dignity. SO MANY people give up and commit suicide, drink themselves to death. 3/4 of the people i group up with and went to school with are already dead. Be proud of what youve accomplished. Life is hard if you make it hard. ENJOY being alive. Take a minute have a cup of coffee. Go outside walk around the yard. Listen to real life not the life we sometimes get caught up in. Go outside at night listen to the crickets look up at the stars. The world really is a beautiful place.

Good Man. You have eyes. Stay away from your age range. Shoot, stay away from everyone. Keep social, love humanity, but there are just too many traps these days. Don't get anyone pregnant. If you meet someone, keep it to where you don't risk anything. If you are the jealous type, drop that. I've never had to deal, I'll just walk away. Keep that in mind. Until you have at least a 5 year history with no betrayals, then think about getting serious.. I'm not going to give you the info that you don't need right now. Wouldn't want to get you down, just stick to what I advise and try to enjoy everyday. Fill yourself with book knowledge. Stay offf of the internet for your schooling. You can reference things now and again. Always read three angles to a topic, use morals and come to your own conclusions. don't let anyone try to set you against anyone for no reason. Always get both sides to a story. Learn to cook. I wouldn't eat out at all, especially these days. please learn to love beans, if you don't already. That's the super food that will get you the most benefit of anything on earth. You can get 90% of what you need to function properly. Don't drink tap water, unless you need to. Damn. I'll stop now. Just to end on a funny note If u worry about busting ass all the time from beans, don't worry, your stomach will acclimate to them and it will go away. I've never had that problem though.😂

I like how Chad is very upfront about his faith. I'm up at 3:30am. I make a gratitude list (10 things), list what I have to do for the day, followed by 20 mins of breath work (Wim Hoff method 4 rounds), then 3-4 minute cold shower, some quality reading or podcast (usually health and wellness related). That takes about 40 minutes. Then to the gym for 1 hr group training followed by 45 mins on my own. Left to my own devices I can wallow in depression. This routine really helps tremendously - win the morning, win the day! If I find myself lethargic in the afternoon, I take another cold shower, which is like a magic reset button.

I’ve been doing the win hof technique for a while too. How do you feel it benefits you?
@FriendofBill-2005 Жыл бұрын
@@brandonboyer7064 - I have problems sticking to one thing, I can be all over the place - the breathing helps me to stick with one thing - the breath. My mind still wanders for a bit, but it eventually settles. I feel calmer and steadier. It's really the shower (I'm up to 5 mins now, and the water is COLD in February in New Jersey) that gives me a feeling of happiness and deep calm. This peaceful feeling lasts for a while, then the workout just keeps it going. Throughout the day, if I feel myself rattled by something, I picture being under the shower head, turning the water on, and being completely ok with the cold. It's a concrete reminder that I can take on stress willingly, and that stress faced willingly is somehow less stressful. It's the trying to avoid stress that increases it. What are the benefits for you?
@billbradleymusic Жыл бұрын
@@brandonboyer7064the breath work opens my sinuses and literally gives me a slight buzz if you will. It makes reaction in crisis second nature as well. The cold shower will make you lol. It opens and closes blood vessels which is quite literally exercise for them. Keeping your arteries and vessels flexible. And, it makes you feel good. There's a lot of research on the topics. I know phones, communication are important, but I just can't comprehend the rapid increase I see in people who start and end the day on their phone. As well as all day. I heard Ray Comfort (look him up) say, no Bible, no breakfast. At 1st, it seemed a chore, now I wake up and look forward to it! 1 year later. So glad to hear others that do the sam. It has been the absolute best thing for life. Much love to all, God is good!!❤❤

Agreed. If you're in recovery from addiction or any mental health problem, routine is critical at restoring order from the chaos. You have to put in the work; start slow, hell stay slow...just don't stop.

I wake up at 4am daily. Make my bed, brush my teeth, wash my face. After this I am usually fully awake. I follow up with a 15 min meditation session (breathing). The routine takes 30min in total. I then settle to backtest my strategies after my mind feels settled for 1 and 1/2 hours un-destructed.

Yes brother, I have been able to do the exact the same routine, sometimes in a different order than you describe and if I am honest - less regularly reading from scripture... but when I do combine all of what you describe - it is an amazing effect and feeling for the rest of the day. Thanks again for your wisdom and perspective. It is always good to hear something your carve out yourself is working for others in the same way, maybe just a different path to same destination it really reaffirms those solitary journeys that you are not necessarily sure IS the right path.

Dude this morning process is perfect indeed and I have all the ingredients to make the very same ! Coffee, Bible, Body and to Business ! Your words and voice are leading me to a Better place Amen . 🙏 Thankyou Sir !

Great advice. The one thing I’m going to make sure to add to mine is prayer. Thanking God for everything. I never pray in morning and think it’s a shame that I don’t. Give God thanks before starting the day and asking for his guidance in all things is something we all should do before we start the day

Thank you for your insights brother. Discipline… plan your morning success by setting the standard before you hit the rack the night before. Before my feet hit the ground I’m thanking the Lord and praising his goodness. This helps me to have a thankful mindset rather than a complaining mindset. I’m tire but I get to spend time with the Lord, what a privilege. Coffee, prayer, and read and process scripture. This gets me ready for the challenges of the day. Matthew 6:33 ESV But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Just my routine… 🤠

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had taken my 13 year son to a “therapist” for anxiety. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with gender identity but the therapist chose to make it about that. He had graphic books with cartoon illustrations of men on men and woman on woman sex. Thank God I stayed with my son. Never, ever again. Chad is our therapist now. God bless you, your videos make a huge difference on our works. Thank you ❤️🩹🙏

Love your show buddy. I'm having a serious issue getting myself back in gear! I injured my neck about 3 years ago and was in chronic pain 24/7 for over a year. During that time my wife and I separated and covid hit and I nearly lost my business. Unfortunately, I turned to sin patterns to cope with the stress. I can't seem to get myself back on the path I believe God has for me! I need help
@timbenham5162 жыл бұрын
I really can't and won't try to give you any advice because I have been here for a while and wish that I could give you some verse that would help, but I know what this fella on the video is saying is Truth that alot of us need to hear over and over. I will never lose hope and give up on Lord Jesus because He will be with us till the end He promises and I believe Him. Thank you Jesus for washing my sins away with Your own Righteous Blood and taking the just punishment that I deserve from the father on yourself.

What stuck out to me most in your statement was, “ I can’t seem to get myself…” The problem with that idea and method is you can’t. It’s not just you it’s everyone that desires to go from our path to His path. 1. Realize you are on the wrong path. You already took the first step, everyone don’t have that revelation. 2. Repent, be sorrowful for your decisions. Turn from them. Go in the opposite direction far as habits, friends and influences. 3. Surrender to Jesus who is the door to that path and the only one who can change your heart and desires. It has to be no longer you but Him. 3. Seek His help, presence and guidance daily. It is not about a dead cold religion it is a relationship with a Savior. 4. Walk in obedience by faith in His Grace and Mercy that He, Jesus is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. 5. Rest. Rest in the fact that it is not I but Christ that dwells in me. 5. Find other real believers that you can fellowship with and draw strength and advice even if it’s just a channel like this or others in a small group or church if you lucky enough to find a real one. Most importantly keep your eyes on a Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. You can’t make those changes but He can through you. “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.” I have seen the worst of men changed by God only. I have seen them, I was one of them….

In my wife and I’s Bible Study we do with young adults, we are reading through the New Testament and we do something called a “HEAR” journal. We are assigned 5 chapters a week and after reading the chapter for the day, we go through and (H)ighlight a verse, we (E)xplain said verse, we (A)pply the verse, and finally we (R)espond to the Lord. There’s a little New Testament booklet on HEAR Journaling and man it’s awesome. Really dogs you into the Word and keeps your wheels spinning and gives time for the Spirit to work in you through Scripture. Much love from North Georgia.

Amen Chad. God gets the Glory first every day. I read my Bible with coffee, stretch, lift a few light weights. Eat, take my dog for a walk and try and rid the anxiety. I have a brain injury, have a lot of anxiety. June 13th of 09, my life changed forever. God has my life in his hands. Glad you know the Lord brother. Thanks for your encouragement each day!

Silence - 5 mins meditation Affirmation - “I choose to see the world with a lens of joy and love” Visualization - picture something going really well that day. Exercise - five minutes of cardio, in my Case karate Reading - five minutes of reading fiction. Scribing - 5 minutes of random writing your thoughts that have nothing to do with your day. To remember this flow S.A.V.E.R.S. 30 to 40 minutes tops. Great suggestions Chad.

Very valuable Golden Nugget I have the same routine with a daily devotion "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyers. Guard your heart by Setting your Mind on things above -- Bible Then I wash my face Be Still then Know He is God. Then 28 Minutes of elevated heart rate and dog walk. I've suffered from PTSD for 56 years and this is truly the one true coping method, I only wish I knew this years ago. Thank you Brother.
