"treasure on Chan's laptop No. 3" i /believe/ gives off 'strange feelings' because of the chord progression. It has a very eerie vibe but at the same time it just "there's something about that song that just make you wanna get up and bust a motherfucking move". Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong but it has a lot of black keys on the piano (basically those in-between notes from the regular do re mi stuff). And maybe I'm getting 7ths in that chord too. Maybe a sustain added along? Seems like it's in minor, which really adds to the spooky tone haha. I've gotta check with my piano and then come back to this later bc its 1.08am rn haha. tho if this gets released with the same chord progression it's got going on now (which they really should cuz it's hella addicting), i would really be excited to see React to the K's reaction to this because those guys are much more musically trained than I am *EDIT* : okay whew it's 4.07pm now and i played it on the piano and here's what i got. I was really wrong with the black keys, it's all white keys. the base note (the lower one) is a A. And the melody tone goes A, B, C, B, D, B, C, B and then just repeats. There is another rift i can't quite hear that does a lil variation at the end but it either goes a bit up or stays at the D note, which is the highest note in the melody. Now with why it sounds so eerie. I know that the notes start like an "A, B, C blah blah blah". But when just thinking about piano, we usually think of it as starting with C. So when the melody uses notes so close to each other like with this song, it will usually give this vibe. But especially that it's starting with A and going thru D because it's just not a section usually coupled together, it's a lot different than what we're used to. (Pianists feel free to correct me. I only do piano as a small hobby. and aghhh I'm so sorry it's so long) *EDIT 2* : WOW there is quite a bit of conversation under my comment. Track no.3 is catchy as hell yet creepy , it has that kind of sounds that stuck in your brain.This freaks me out cuz you need to be more than just talented to make a track like this. It also gave me some xxtentaction vibe.
