In case anyone is wondering, when Chan said: “I walked around a lot, empty desert, looking for a road got no place to go. I can’t see anything. One day on the sky I see a sign. This is suffocating, my eyes full of water, I see my team when looking in the sky” It basically means that in his trainee years, he was always alone as his friends all debuted really early whilst chan never got the chance to debut. He ‘walked around a lot’ and tried to ‘look for a road’ by participating in a lot of things in order to debut sooner but still nothing, he probably felt like giving up. So when his only hope came aka stray kids, he felt really overwhelmed and cried since the day finally came.

Changbin's verse here is seriously one of my favorites ever from anyone. And I listen to a lot of rap music. He excels in lyrical affect (even just judging a translation) and the flows are seriously insane throughout the majority. It's a bit less pure genius for the last couple bars, but the first, like, 80% is seriously insane especially considering his background is just that of a normal kpop trainee.
