3rd Gen Durango RT / X-Pipe with Rear Resonator Delete

Removed suit case muffler and had an x-pipe installed in place of it. Also had rear resonators deleted. Enjoy

Sound good. Thinking of having my mid muffler cut out and an h pipe put in. I want more of an old school rumble than an x pipe would give, that high pitch v8

X-pipe gives rumble then an h-pipe when it comes to the Dodge exhaust setup.

I wanna do something similar with mine. Aftermarket resonators before the x pipe to straight pipes out the back with big tips.

You will fuck up the sound characteristics of you put resonators before the X. Need to be after.

the resonator is in the middle the tail pipe has the mufflers, so you did a muffler delete not a resonator delete

Technically they are both mufflers however you want to see it. But yes BOTH are gone with an x-pipe in place of the center section.

From my understanding, Blastin Bobs are a resonator, not tips.

@@MK6Guy yup All I have to do is unclamp the last piece and replace it with Blastin bobs. I’ve seen people do it but not too sure if it’s worth it considering the whole exhaust system was already 1.5 K

The resonator you deleted is the big ol tank in the center right ?

No. The center muffler is the suit case muffler. Rear resonator is the canister attached to the tips.

How’s the drone when cruising?

@@71sed8edmc19 When I am doing 70mph, NOT using Eco Mode it does not drone that bad. If the volume is at 10 or higher you can’t hear the exhaust cruising with Eco off. Eco can make it drone, but honestly who uses Eco with a V8?!
