I was all in until I had to stick something to my phone case. The new iPhones have a magnet inside of them and I'm not sure how this would interfere with the wireless charging capability. But I agree, the mount is not very noticeable. Nice video.

The good thing about this mount is it has a pretty universal ball. You can get other types of phone holders that use the same ball. One example would be ram mounts.

Eric I just ran into this problem so I ordered a MagSafe charger off of Amazon. I put that on the ball mount. Now I have a mount and charger in one. Now to route the wire clearly.

@@cristianavila955 Are you saying you used this Course Motorsports bracket and ball, but attached a different Magsafe charger to the ball on the bracket? Is the ball on the bracket the same as a RAM mount?

How strong is the magnet? Did it handle the bumpy roads ok?

What is you have a Otter box. the protective cover on phone. I need more of a clamp type. :-)

You can still use this mount and any other style ball clamp mount.

Has anyone tried the Magsafe wireless charger option? Im wondering how strong the magnet is and will it hold going over speedbumps, potholes, etc.

Update: I purchased and installed the Magsafe wireless charger about 3 weeks ago. It works great! My iPhone 12 has never fallen off, the magnet is strong. It does shake if you go over pothole or rough pavement, but not enough to be an issue. I have not used it for off road

@@kevrobinson2000 you still like your mount? I mounted mine on the outside of my phone case. I’ve noticed bc the ring is so thin vs a plate it gets really warm and the adhesive falls off the phone case leaving the ring on the mount.

@@AFGixxeR88 I actually sold my Tacoma last month, but my iPhone case had the magnetic ring built into it so no worries about it falling off. I would highly recommend this mount if you have a case with the magnetic ring built in

With mine on top of my phone case, it did make it more difficult to charge wirelessly.

It snaps just fine without notching the cover.

Anyone else having an issue with the adhesive side metal piece NOT sticking after about 10-15 minutes...my I-Phone literally slid right off falling and chipping the corner! WTF!

@@ozarklander1250 I've been conversing w/ customer service. Seems very strange and they are baffled as well. Appears they're going to send me a replacement part to give this another whirl. I'm thinking it's a freak thing.

Trash. The bracket arrived bent, the threading on the ball had metal burrs. Definitely not worth the money.

I ended up buying two, one for each side so the passenger could have a place to put their phone. Does not work on both sides. I hate this mount. Magnet sucks. My phone turns or slowly falls done. The metal is so thin it's like my phone is on a spring driving down the road. Do not buy this mount. Complete garbage.
