Truly a blessing to discover the St. Gregory the Great Parish Church, our country's 3rd oldest church, which is so near Manila, and a great pilgrimage site when travel restrictions are lifted. Thank you Motofaith for taking us to these awesome churches, with good commentaries and travel directions.

Thanks so much as well... I hope to be able to do more church features for you in the near future, when the lockdown eases a bit. My immediate plan right now is to go back to the areas near Liliw and Majayjay (i.e. also in Laguna) and do more of the churches there. Laguna is just so rich with history and faith, and I just feel I need to do more and feature more. 👍

Philippine has great history sad nga lang sa paglipas ng panahun,nakalimutan at hndi pinapahalgahan,firts ko marinig niyan nasa Laguna lng pla the 3rd oldest church ,malau ba yan sa cabuyao at santa rosa laguna? Sa panahun pla yn ni Salcedo at ni misyonaryo agustino,stay bless PO keep it up👍👍👍❤️❤️

It is so interesting to learn more about your culture, I didn't realise you had so many churches! I mainly think of all the heat, the waterfalls and temples when I think of Philippines/Asia. I have been doing some research into the festivals that happen near you. MassKara Festival looks amazing! Have you been & would you like to go? This year looks unlikely but next year could be very cool

Thanks Jack, and I'm so glad that you find the Philippines interesting! 👍Since the country's made up of several islands, different regions tend to have various kinds of festivities, and the islands are quite known for the warmth of the people. I haven't myself gone to the Masskara festival (although I've been to Bacolod City) so it would certainly be a lovely box to tick!

@@MotoFaith Interesting...In Chiang mai [which I know is Thailand] there is the festival of light or 'Loi Krathong' ideally I would go there before heading all the way home. 18 hour flight I should try and get the Philipeans & Thailand in one trip

@@AnotherHipster Wow! You should certainly try swinging by the Philippines! It's just around 3.5 hours by direct flight from Bangkok to Manila. It might also be a good idea to see as much as you can while you're in this region. 👍

Im also cautious in eating @ carinderias on my every long rides...sanitary issue...so, i end up eating fruits i bought along d highway..much safer & nurtritious..🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂best to buy food & water in 7 eleven store coz we're recorded in their cctv😊can be review if there was untoward incident happened☺
