So i pick up a few gadgets to complete my invention but of course something went wrong..

dear swifty. there is way do this! my brother has come up with the idea to use a iron shaft and 3 strap belts that you get at home depot. if you strap it around the neck and onto the back thin is sits fine. and the 3d strap is to hold it back and around your waist. its really easy and cheep.

Swifty, here is a mount that you need to build. It uses small diameter pvc tubing. Sturdy enough to hold your GoPro. mount it to to a chest harness using velcro.

Id recomend something that comes off each shoulder and connects together at the back like a triangle so it will be stabilized.

This is why I love watching your videos. You do things no one ever do and you also do some crazy funny stuff :D About the mounting for the camera so you can film yourself in 3rd person, that's gonna be a heck of a challenge. My mind is twisting to find a solution :P

i probably got an idea for you. You fold your camera-holding pole in half, you wear the harnest and you get the pole between the harnest and your back... so like that the camera should no got up and down. :) Hope this can help you swifty.

You should check into those harness that swivel around your body, like the ones they use in an old show where people would go into haunted areas and you can see their every movement and it swivels around your body..

Hey swifty bro, try attaching something around your waste up to the tip of your camera that is attached to your shoulder harnessed camera. Basically you are making a triangle with the pole from your shoulder and waste with your back as the 3rd side.

I have a great idea for swifty just a harness that goes underneathe both of his armpits and behind his neck and a attachment on his right or left shoulder to hold the stick for the camera this way it wont be as bouncy maybe still a little but may fix some of the problem

I think you would be better off using something like a bullet- proof vest, and building off off it ( also try and evenly distribute the weight on whatever is holding the camera). Hope that helps and you give it another go

Maybe find a backpack that has a bunch of straps and loops on the arm straps then you could slide the GoPro camera stick through those loops which would hold it stead on your shoulder exactly like you showed at the end of this video. Just an idea! could work -madace404

To make it not flimsy try saudering/welding a straight anchor from the harness to the pole holding the camera, Like when you said its flimsy take the cent part of where the pole is and add a stationary pole from the middle of the back end of the pole straight down to the harness, should stop it from flopping up and down like an anchor!

Check it out, get a marching drums harness(like marching band) they are metal shoulder hooks with a bar across the back and it goes down the belly on front. Cut off parts of the belly so it sits on your back and then drill a hole to pit your camera stem in on the back cross bar and secure the stem in, wallah you got 3rd person. I'll even make you one.
