I love the fact that not only is the scenery outstanding, but you don't jump up and down on the whistle in every scene!!!!

I did a little research and found that this locomotive was more powerful than the Allegheny in every way. It had mot high end horse power AND it had more tractive force. Just a better locomotive.

That rolling stock is how I recall as a kid with those 40' and 50' box cars. The scenery is right on for the late 50s and early 60s. Are the couplers scale sized? (I can't think of a two rail O that looks more realistic and true to the era than yours.) Thanks for the post.

You have an awesome layout. Wonderfully detailed and weathered. One of the nicest O scale layouts I've seen recently! Always enjoy seeing your videos. 👍

Norm thanks for sharing one great looking 3RSed Q2 engine. I and enjoyed your mode of the 3RSed Q2 run on your layout. Greetings Nick from New Jersey

Great video Norm. The detail you put into your layout is amazing. This engine is a beast. It looks and runs great. The sounds are so good, the whistle and braking make this a great experience. Was this the sounds that 3rd Rail included with this model or did you add sounds to the Q2?
@normstrains5 жыл бұрын
These are almost 20 year old Lionel T1 (Railsounds 4.0) with the old three board setup. The whistle and bell aren't right at all but I sort of like the exhaust sounds. I have used this sound setup in this engine and my 3rd Rail T1.
