Is it just me or is it weird they put an Anthropologie professor and a Physics professor in the same office? It is community college but still should they each be in their respective depts buildings just a thought but so funny

I thought the same, small college? Maybe Mary had an empty space and there was no one else willing to share with her.

At my polytechnic, one lecturer (abstract algebra, iirc) was given an office in the chemistry department while maths building was renovated in the 1980s... and that arrangement stayed that way 30-some years after construction was done. I'm pretty sure it was grandfathered into maths department by one of his postdocs when he retired, too. Higher learning overall is a lot more wild west than most people think.

LOL that scene wouldn't work today since we have voice commands now.

I love how this show works even when they ignore their own storytelling. Like, an advanced alien race visits earth and has to learn all sorts of things to blend in. Yet they can't use computers despite being an advanced race, but they learned how to drive our "old fashioned" wheel-vehicles.

that just because it's old tech for them, would you be able to operate a photo camera from 1920?

@@rubenheymans1988 Yes... because its old technology usually more simple without having to look at it for a few minutes.
