Fun fact about the last ichigo fit with the boots & purple top. Kubo mentioned that entire photo was supposed to have a bank heist aesthetic with them wearing ski mask & money on the table but the editors thought it was too violent so he changed the mask to paper bags & blank paper on the table.

The wiki states that Orihime's exceptionally high marks in school are at odds with her quirky behavior, but the hyouka wiki doesn't say the same about Eru Chitanda despite the fact that she's just as if not more quirky than Orihime! TV Tropes states that Orihime Inoue is an example of genius ditz, is flighty, and that characters are surprised (stating everyone is sirprised) when they find out she studies hard at school and scores well, but the only characters who were remotely surprised was two of her friends who are basically nameless and Chizuru! Not Tatsuki, not Ichigo, not Rukia, not Chad, not Uryu, but freaking two people no one remembers the freaking names of and Chizuru the only memorable thing about one of the girls LITERALLY NOBODY REMEMBERS THE FREAKING NAME OF is that she's says she's jealous that Orihime has brains and boobs! Is two forgettable characters and ditzy Chizuru enough people to say everyone was surprised? I think freaking not! Also Keigo was surprised that Ichigo and Chad get good grades, is Keigo enough to say EVERYONE?? Does that make Ichigo and Chad Genius Ditz's as well??????? All I am getting from the anime fandom plus upset Ichiruki fanoits is logical fallacies and contradictions, and I just proved it! In a flashback in the TYBW arc Ryuken Ishida says that Misaki isn't the ditz she seems can't the same thing be said about Orihime or more specifically Orihime in the first arc because lets be honest in the current arc she's more like older Misaki, Mimosa Vermillion and Ochako Uraraka rather than younger Misaki and Mayuko Inoue the latter a character from Ushio And Tora who I believe Kubo modeled Orihime's character from! Tite Kubo is very well known for how he dresses his characters. He originally wanted to become a fashion designer, and as his manga took off, he decided to stick with it instead, and that's the origin of where all these fire fits came from. The man just likes drawing stuff he thinks looks cool. I believe he's also gone on record saying that if he wasn't a mangaka, he would become a fashion designer.

Bleach was my favorite anime as a kid because of the amazing character design. As a black kid this was one of the only animes at the time that had black and brown characters looking crazy drippy and cool. Kinda disappointed they didn’t rank tosen.

pretty sure i read somewhere that Kubo was the only mangaka out of the big three that made his character designs by himself for his manga (they usually do concepts or ideas and later hire a design specialized person to make the characters)

While there's a couple other fits i would've chosen to show for certain characters in the list you chose, Overall Kubo really snapped with his designs. He has SO MANY good ones and even the weaker ones in Bleach are still well above the average set in anime. I definitely recommend at least a part 2 because there's SO MANY MORE crazy fits from all the color pages and just in general.

A few notes: First, you missed all the fits from the actual final arc, which alas is yet to be animated (though that'll change starting on Monday). Rukia's bankai (heck, you missed her shikai), Renji's true bankai, Uryuu's Sternritter fit, any of Ichigo's like 4 later forms... There's a bunch of good stuff in there even before looking at the Captains, Arrancars, Sternritters, Vizards, Fullbringers, and others like Urahara, Yoruichi, Ganjuu, Kuukaku, and of course Don Kanonji. Second, you should check out the ending theme to the 2nd OVA, which is fit city and has more than enough content for a whole video by itself in just 75 seconds. Not drawn by Kubo as far as I know, but there's still some really good stuff. Third, it's spooky season and you didn't rate any of the Halloween costumes? Fourth, it deserves mentioning that before he became a mangaka Kubo wanted to become a fashion designer, so there's a reason the bar for his fits is so high. And fifth, I'd like to submit my votes for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Nana fits to be rated. Yazawa Ai was in the industry as a designer and her skills definitely show in Nana, so even if it's a bit more obscure nowadays Nana is well worth discussing. Araki Hirohiko pulls a lot of poses from fashion magazines and, well, Gucci made an entire line based on his character designs, not to mention he's one of only 2 mangaka to ever be displayed in the Louvre, so it'd be a crime not to rate his fits.
