Been eyeing one of these for awhile. It's a bit "out of the box" for me at least, for a small hunting pack but I seem to keep coming back to considering it. Might have to give one a try.

I wish it hard softer outside material. It seems a branch thumping the lid would be loud.

I believe the mic we used is amplifying the noise. It is not quiet, but not louder than other cloth material you wear.

Did 3rivers carry a bag similar to this but made in America? It was tan and not green.

Yes we did. Unfortunately, we were not able to keep reliable supply levels with that one.
