he was saying that myoglobin is a component of blood, in the same way that oxygen is a component of H2O. But he was wrong on soo many levels, everyone was confusing myoglobin with haemoglobin

From an American , the saying was "Your Ass Is Mine". Michael Jackson couldn't say that in his music back then so he changed the lyric to " Your Butt Is Mine" . Also, Marvin confused the 80's with the 90's regarding the R&B movie/soundtrack era. The 80's was the soundtrack era for white films mostly. Outside of a small few, black films didn't really gain mainstream popularity til the 90's. All those black classics that y'all know off the top of your head didn't come out til the 90's.
