You wake up to the sounds of the birds calling. While the sun rises you rush to get food in the forest. You can hear some kind of horn in a distant. It then hits you, There is war. Spears are flinging at you and you can hear swords in a distant. Slowly, everyone is dying and you start hearing birds again. You think to yourself,"what a glorious morning!"

Almost the perfect description. I was thinking along the lines of a Civil War battle charge then the artillery battery, then on horses, forgot what that is called, and then victory to one side with a bloody battlefield in background. It fits the music on each part, try it.
@Solaire_of_Astora_AoE8 жыл бұрын
You awaken in the morning to the sounds of birds calling. A wonderful sunrise meets the silhouette of the distant mountains as you prepare for a hunting trip out in the woods close to your ancestral home. The air around your home is a pleasantly cool mix of spring and summer air, there to tell you that soon the humid season will set in and drench the world around you in a layer of comforting heat. You hear a noise off in the distance, what sounds like the rapport of feet up on dirt and rock, and look off into the distance, your spear in hand, letting your eyes dart left and right to search for the origin of the noise. Suddenly, from a point of what seems like nothingness, you see them: the enemy tribe rushes at you from their side of the forest, spears and clubs raised, a defiant war-cry filling the atmosphere with a cacophony of terrifying voices. Your eyes shift from left to right as rapidly as they can, and you can't think well enough to raise your spear in self-defense. Your breath and heart-rate speed up exponentially. The enemy rush is but feet away from you now, and you finally shift your spear into a defensive position. Your enemy reaches you, and as you sink your spear into the stomach of the first man to attack, you see hundreds of warriors from your tribe rush out of the foliage behind you to meet the enemy with fist, club, and spear alike. You tug the spear from the body of your enemy, and again you let your eyes dart around. You witness the destruction of hundreds of lives before your eyes. Suddenly, your vision flashes again. You put on your helmet and grasp your sword between heavy hands, feeling for its weight and testing its swing once before stepping forward into line. Your body feels as if it is carrying the world upon its shoulders in your bulky armor, and as the summer heat seeps into the crevices of the black exoskeleton, you can't help but wonder why you and your compatriots are out in this field. You glance at them, your brothers in arms. From left to right, into the distance on either direction and reaching so far as to make you unable to see some of them, your fellow servicemen are lined up in a massive row, all holding swords, daggers, shields, spears, pikes, and the occasional crossbow. You are not the only line, just the first one. Behind you there are countless lines of troops dressed exactly as you are; you are one and the same with thousands of men on this day. Almost going unnoticed is a faint sound in the distance. You can't help but turn your head and try to hear it more clearly. The sunlight over the nearby mountains blinds you, and you continue with your hand over your visor, looking for the origin of the noise. As it nears, a feeling of dread hits your stomach. It is a war-drum, the call of a knight's drummer to his men, ordering them to move forward. You see the enemy ranks in the distance, each walking forward at an even pace and staring straight forward at you. From your side, you hear your own side's war-drum join in, playing the same tune. Silently, without hesitation, still with the dread of a dead man, you begin to walk forward. Your enemy begins to get closer, and closer, and closer, until you can eventually make out the designs on their intricate armor. They are similar to those on your own, you think. The enemy is not so different from yourself. They are all one and the same with one another on this day, individuals without individuality. The drumming gets louder and louder, until eventually it changes into the tune of a drum that you recognize all too well. Both sides receive the charge order from their respective knights. It starts with a slow walk, and then a steady jog, and then a light run. Your speed picks up until eventually both sides are sprinting at one another with reckless abandon, swords and daggers raised, shields ready, and men's lives at stake. Both sides raise a war-cry the likes of which you have never heard before, men screaming at the top of their lungs as they race to their deaths. Your line of troops collides with the frontline of the enemy's, and as you raise your sword high over your head to bring it down upon your foe, your memory flashes again. You finish cocking your musket, making sure that the powder in the tray is dry and ready to be lit, a sparking-stone sitting beneath the hammer of your gun and beckoning you to pull the trigger. You lock the hammer into the half-cocked position and wait for the order to move forward, as you always have. When the order finally comes, you follow the movements of your men, marching rank and file into combat. Your regiment of line-infantry flanks one of the enemy's regiments and finds a hill to rest upon. You note that the sun was in your eyes in the position you just left. You glance at the mountains beside the battlefield, watching the sun begin to rise over the mountaintops. An enemy artillery shell blasts the right side of your platoon apart, but you do not dare move from your position. It is your duty. You shoulder your musket nervously, looking about and watching men fall to musket-fire and cannonades of artillery rounds. Your officer shouts the make-ready order, and so you fully cock your musket and raise it forward, readying yourself to aim. The second order never comes, as an enemy regiment opens fire on yours. You watch as half of the men you know and consider your friends die without having ever fired a shot. The officer continues after the barrage is over, giving the order to aim. You point your musket at the enemy lines, prepared to do your duty. Your officer gives the fire order. The hammer of your musket strikes the striking-stone and a blast of gunpowder fills your vision. You finish tying your boots, putting your bootknife into the correct holster and picking up your rifle, making sure it's loaded before piling into the vehicle your squad has been assigned. It's nearly time for the operation to begin, and you don't want to be caught with an unloaded rifle when the fighting begins. Your squad's vehicle soon takes off, transporting you to a hilly area with some foliage, perhaps a tree or two. The sunrise comes over the nearby mountains as you crest the hill you're to hold. Your orders are to hold the line at all costs, including your life. All around you are hundreds, thousands of men with assault rifles and knives, ready to give their lives to defend their homeland. You check your rifle's ammunition for the sixth or seventh time, nervously thumbing the magazine in an attempt to calm your nerves. You fumble a bit with the magazine and drop it. As you kneel to the ground to pick the magazine up, you hear the whistling sound of an artillery round. Upon the incoming warning your officer shouts, all of your hearing disappears as the shell impacts the hill beside you, tossing you into the air and obliterating the men you were standing with. As soon as you regain your bearings, you pick up your rifle and slide a new magazine into it, forgetting about the now-destroyed old magazine and immediately opening fire on the enemies, which have started to approach under the cover of the incoming artillery rounds. You hear a buzzing sound and look behind you to see hundreds of planes, each the size of two buses and at least twice as wide as a truck is long. You shout out to the men next to you and dive into cover, poking your head up just in time to watch the planes above your head drop a rain of explosive steel and shrapnel into the ranks of the enemy. You look to your left and right and see hundreds of men firing their fully-automatic firearms into the oncoming hordes of enemies, all equally as armed as your men are. You know that a hundred men are dying every second you spend looking. Beside you, a tank acquires its target. All you hear is a shout, and then the main gun goes off. You look down at your hands, covered with the hard surface of the power armor your nation uses in its military, your SMG hanging loosely on your shoulder as you take in the sight of the blood on your gloves. The power-armor's black-painted carapace is tinted by a coagulated layer of thick, red blood. You rapidly move your eyes from hand to hand, breathing heavily as you quickly look up at the field around you. You look back down to the hole in your chest, where a railgun round has just passed through you. Your breathing and heart-rate speed up and get shallower as you begin to feel nauseated. You keep moving your eyes left and right from hand to hand to the hole in your chest, eventually feeling blood in your breaths, and knowing that you are drowning in your own fluids. It begins seemingly in slow motion. You topple forward for a moment, but then your balance tries to right itself, and you lean backwards. You cannot stop yourself. You fall backwards, gazing up at the sky in the last moments of your life. You feel the feeling draining from your body as you realize that these are your last thoughts. After an eternity of war, you are tired of watching men die. You are tired of killing men. You are tired of the endless violence and the bloodshed that leads to nothing. You just want it to end. You need the killing to stop. You realize with a small chuckle that the killing *is* over for you. You'll never again have to see the violence, the bloodshed. You'll never again have to fight. As you look over at the mountains nearby, those same mountains you have seen in every battle in your life, the sun begins to rise over the mountaintops. A smile overcomes your paling face. You can't help but think to yourself... "What a glorious morning."

I remember play Age of War 2 and just getting to future age, getting 4 heavy plasma guns and farming til i had enough for 4 gods wrath so I could end the game with style. The only people able to do dmg were the scientist when you had the 2 upgrades for turrets maxed. Ahhhhh the memories. Wed do competitions with friends who finishes the game fastest on hard. Nostalgia

Patriarcha Sapientiae Yes, that was nice time. Childhood. You was doing it with a style, but can`t beat me. When I was 10 I forget to turn off computer so whole night it was farming and I had so many coins, that when I was making fighters for 150 000 coins I didn`t even spent half of my money before end. But I agree with you Game was amazing. I also liked "Particles". It was challengable and had beautiful music. Try it. PS: My record in "Particles" was 143 seconds, more than 8 balls. Rank: A

The thing about this is so good because when I was a little kid, I always played that game and now. 5 years later, I found it again. when I listened to it for a second my heart just dropped. All the memories coming back. The song itself almost made me cry ;)

There is actually a theory that Chuck Norris was born to the sound of this music. It's probably true.
@trent20016410 жыл бұрын
Is this music that old? I don't think it is... as I don't think this type of... danc-ish... music was around then.

No, I don't go on social media very much besides Steam so... I don't even have a Facebook or anything.
@growen647410 жыл бұрын
trent200164 Well. Let me explain a bit: Chuck Norris jokes are kinda uniuqe. They (almost) all involve something thats awsome,''epic'' or/and wierd. One example is: Chuck listens to nyan-cat 10 hours 6 times a day. all of wich, are not true. but we make em anyway, because we love making fun of chuck norris and of how boss he is ;)
@mivapusa10 жыл бұрын
trent200164 A very good example is the battle between Norris and Abe Lincolm, in Epic Rap battles, where Chuck also states that he invented rap-music when his heart started beating.
@iloveyoutoastgaming758510 жыл бұрын
That's a theory. The fact is that this music was born to the sound of Chuck Norris.

This song is written for a glorious morning... for a brighter tomorrow. Grieve not the days long past, but look to the future. When I felt myself missing this game, I realized that the magic is only as gone as you allow it to be. My brother and cousin are also into games so I’m going to see if they’ll do a speed run race of this game with me (super fun way to casually compete).

the only things i need in age of war are 4 ion cannons to comletely reck the enemy, and once i have 4 ion cannons, i just sit back in my chair enjoying how the enemy still tries to het troops to my base,but only make it worden, and that same day i was in a LOL mood and i started over again and decided not to advance in the age,discovering that you van take a tank out with lots and lots of dino riders.
