Editors have reached a level of achievement that very few (famous) bands will ever come close to. They are up there with The National and The Bad Seeds in having such a solid and diverse back catalogue, members are forever joining or alternating, but what really defines their well earned following is their persistence to just be a band and make music. Every live show is different, yet ridiculously tight, the songs are so well known to the listener yet every performance has an element of unpredictability, with Tom especially hard to tell if he’s literally improvising/playing around with existing melodies in the moment (Heart Attack outro for example). I can’t see their process ever fading out, especially now with Ben in the band I feel that’s injected another decades worth of energy into them. Editors forever🖤

This concert nothing short of amazing, songs are brilliant, Tom Smith has such an amazing voice especially on Strawberry Lemonade and Papillon he has great vocal range. Sign of a good band is hearing all their instruments but come together as a perfect unit. The more you listen the more you can hear how good they are. I can never get enough of this concert. My favourite band was always Linkin Park and with the sad death of their singer Chester Bennington this band has filled a big gap for me in music, wish they would release this concert on a live CD. I used to listen to Editors when they first brought out Smokers outside hospital doors and the arrangements they have made with their songs is brilliant.

Saw Editors way back when… release of first album at a small gig (200 maybe!?). One of the best gigs I’d been too… ever. Lost track and didn’t realise they were still going until I saw them at Glasto this year 🤩 so, so, good, blew me away! It’s been said a number of times in the comments… underrated!

Editors are still fantastic. Smith has such great range. I saw them live at Irving Place in New York in May 2018 and it was a special, small(er) show. Would love to see these guys play a festival soon.

Veel te vlak en saai gespeeld. De kenmerkende Editors-sound was er niet. Enkel het slotnummer was van een zeker niveau in mijn ogen.
