I was at greyday 2023 and 2024 and as much as I love their old music too, their recent performances versus these older ones are way better. Its nice seeing Scrim sober and present on stage. I'm sad there's not many videos of the first show they did in Montreal. I was there, one of the most if not the most iconic moment of my life which helped me through so much. Me and my friends listened to them for so long, knew almost every song by heart, listened to them at home all night. Seeing them in the flesh was not just amazing, I was at the front, right at the gate. When they played "New Chains, Same Shackles" Scrim stood on the speaker in front of me which was in hand's reach. Everyone was trying to fist bump him, I was doing a fist bump too. Scrim looked at me, went to do a fist bump but instead turned his hand and opened it so I could hold it. He held my hand right as the beat dropped again into his verse. I was shook, still am today, sang every word of that song too. Love you $B, will never forget what good it did to me. Even writing this comment makes me tear up.
