My late (Dutch) dad used to love Irish folk music and introduced me to it since I was young. Me growing up as a metalhead later on of course had to introduce him to things like dropkick murphys and flogging molly to let him know there were louder versions as well, which he loved immediately. When I saw this on Dutch tv last week I was hooked and felt the urge to forward it to him right away, only to be reminded that is not possible anymore. You've got a new fan and although I feel sad for not being able to share it with him anymore, I'm thankful for reminding me of the better times when we would listen to Irish music and drink some Redbreast together. Slainte!
