We all thank God that white people with their endemic hate, ingrained prejudice and idea of supremacy did not shoot these black men when they were young black men ( think of the black boys killed buy white cops just because they are living in a skin the white skin hates to see, 12 year old Tamir Rice etc). What would have happened to all the people they have helped in their life time? I am sorry, do white people see the evil they are doing to the world? The evil is so deep, think of what the world would have lost if this had happened to these two when they were young. Smh

Dr Osbourne and team. My brother was a Vietnam vet. He was 18 years old when he went. Thank God he came home but the VA did nothing for those men and woman that fought that war. My brother would never speak of what he went through. He had Asian orange and suffered from PTSD. He never said a word about what he was going through. He married a wonderful woman and had 2 children. Unfortunately he could not deal with what he silently was going through. He was my hero and the best big brother any little girl could ever hope for. He took his life, none of us will ever get our lives back because we miss him so much! It will be 23 years September 5th. Not a day goes by that I don’t cry for him. He went to the VA for help and they did nothing!! I thank you and your team for helping that Vet. You are an amazing DR and human being. I thank you from the bottom of my ❤️ for the work you do for so many people! I will never forget that video, nor will I ever get over losing my big brother. Thank you😢❤️❤️❤️

I am so very sorry 😢 but he is in heaven with Jesus and in peace and you will see your beautiful brother again ! I know that the VA system is not great but let’s hope and pray that Trump for 2024 will change it like he was starting to back when he was President. He has a big heart for veterans and we need that right now! Vote 🗳️ God bless you ❤

Glad to see that Mr. Brunson had an excellent recovery! The VA here in New Orleans consistently makes appointments MONTHS out. Thank goodness my Air Force vet retired husband has his diabetes and A1c numbers under control. And has no pressing medical issues. "that's the best we can do.." is a phrase I have heard before in the VA waiting room....This guy Ron is a prince. I am sorry he had to go through all that pain, and delay. But now he might just become a powerful advocate and voice, for better health care - ESPECIALLY at the VA. Bless all!!!

I've had this pain for 2 month now. My boss made me go to hospital. Had a scan 2 days ago and something is blocking my salivary glands. Two months ago it felt like I burnt myself with hot tea/coffee in my throat, then felt like sore throat but I did not have a cold. In the night I kept coughing so could not sleep. The A&E doctor told me to suck on lemons to help produce more saliva to push the salivary stone down, it has eased it a bit but it is not shifting. The doctor said might need surgery if it does not go away by itself. Fortunately I live in UK so everything is free under NHS. I have no clue how or why this happened. Now it feels like a small bone is stuck in my throat, it does not hurt as much (or maybe I am used to the pain) Seeing the specially in 10 days to tell me my options

The army make sure to be perched on the steps of high schools for when seniors about to graduate to tell them how great it is to join. They have resources, going to having soldi March back and forth daily, protecting dead soldiers buried under, feet's of concrete, they don't know their names, who is going to come with a cat machine and dig them up, no one. There's a cemetery filled with thousands of fallen soldiers, nobody not digging them up, and there's no changing of the guards for them. I mean no disrespect to the fallen, but where we put resources,is truly mind blowing! Put up a gating around them with cameras and make it electric and make plaques describing what the spot represents, and that is resources freed up to target for veterans! These soldiers who is marching back and forth and yelling at the people to shut up, think about it, what am I shutting up for, layers of concrete, that sits on top of bones, where are the soldiers a that should be marching back and forth in the cemetery, for all those other fallen, and those are the ones who can be dug up! This shows the vets who come back, they are less important than their fallen comrade! If this is how vets who survives, and return home will be treated, stay out of high schools,leave our children alone, if we don't call you, don't call us. We forget about the living survivors, but highlight the dead daily! If Dr.Osbourn and his team can Go to poorer countries and make a difference in hundreds of lives in one week, what is the problem here! Take a stand, Drs here need to put the money aside, and start doing missions for the veterans! 307000 ,died, waiting for health care, and they defended us, and we wonder why other countries criticize us! Is it that we didn't expect to have any surviving veterans to return back, we were hoping they would all die so we wouldn't have to have any plans for after care!
@valcrump82572 жыл бұрын
Maybe if the VA hospitals were turned into regular hospitals, and veterans are seen first, they would get the care and attention that they deserve. It’s not much better in Canada.

If the U.S. gov't/military didn't keep sending our military to unnecessary "conflicts", then skimp on the healthcare available to them through VA hospitals, situations like this, many lifethreatening, wouldn't be happening. It's not that staff at VA hospitals aren't doing the best they can with the funding, resources they have available, it's that the U.S. gov't & military are much more willing to fund warfare than they are to finance the impact on veterans who return, physically and mentally damaged.

Imagine if every celebrity, the multi millionaires like the Kardashians and the like, privately paid the bill for one vet. Even though though the VA system is great, those of us as spouses lose almost all benefits if our spouse dies. Some of us had to give up schooling, careers…including pensions and retirement plans to keep our families together. We are completely forgotten.
@cynicannkeel8899 Жыл бұрын
One solution would be if the U.S. gov't quit sending members of U.S. military to unnecessary war zones around the world. It would take some of the pressure off the VA system. The U.S. military, gov't always have money for war and weapons, yet aren't willing to sufficiently fund the healthcare needs for veterans.
