The geometric pattern on the doors not only shows off your woodworking skills but matches the purpose of the piece. It gives the case a retro feel that goes so well with the idea of playing vinyl on it. Well done!

It's got original, 1st pressing of The Allman Brothers Band, Clapton, BB King, Freddie King, The Doors, Van Morrison, Chick Corea(Rest in Peace!) and so, so many others. There's even an original, 1st pressing of THE ALLMAN BROTHERS 'AT FILLMORE EAST'! My favorite album ever and we have a 1st pressing! Holy grail? Yep. It is for me. I've shared middle names with Howard Duane Allman my entire life and have known that fact since I was like 4 yrs old in 1985 lol! Wow. A ton of skill went into this construction. I am not usually a fan of irregular geometric patterns and round corners and edges. However this design seemed to me to perfectly suit the retro echo of the vinyl disks and player. Seeing your joy when the oil wiped on the doors was fantastic. I think we've all been there - that moment when all the work put in pays off and even surprises you. Great job!

You are one of my top 5 YT presenters. I love all your stuff and love that you do your working while your kids are in school, but give them your time when they're home. This piece is incredibly beautiful. Thanks for all the great videos.

This video reminds me of the first time I made a beehive. I was a carpenter back then and quickly discovered woodworking and carpentry are not the same thing. I too thoroughly enjoy a good hand plane. Nothing like those 1st swipes with a freshly sharpened blade.

I've been watching your videos for years. The thing I really like about you and what I think sets you apart from others is the way you design and finish your pieces. You're so detail-oriented that you don't really care if it will take a lot longer for you to make it as long as it will make your piece look a lot better. You take so much time making and designing your pieces and it really shows in the end. You don't make things just for the hell of it, you make it because you want to make something beautiful. I really love the way you do things, I hope I can make furniture pieces soon. ♡

Wow! What a brilliant and artistic looking piece! Very impressive, not only on the final product but I find I learn so much about the often overlooked and underestimated details of a project that you show and explain that helps a TON with developing effective techniques that not only make a project look incredibly better but save me time and frustration on many of the builds I now do. So thank you for taking the time to document and explain/show everything you do! You really have more of a positive impact than you will ever realize for so many of us wood workers and makers of every level!

Tamar, there are no words worthy of describing your attention to detail, your ability to push through the most tedious of tasks, and the absolute dedication to perfection. If I practiced the rest of my life, I would never reach your level. I so enjoy your videos. And yes, I buy almost everything you suggest. Recently got the 60 degree edge banding bit set on your say so. LOVE IT. I so hate square corners in cabinetry. Please keep posting, please keep pushing envelopes no else would dare to do. YOU ROCK!
