It was mentioned on another video that it has a weapon rack, so that should mean there is an interior. If it doesn't have an interior it won't sell near as well.

The contested zone loot I saw was a custom F8C. Account bound. Zero percent chance it’s free. It’s like a golden ticket or pirate swarm. It’ll be the ability to pledge it. No way they give away $300 ships. And if they do, zero percent chance I don’t shoot my friends over it.

You're 100% wrong. It's a random pool of ships, including the Avenger, F8C, and Cutlass. It is bound in-game (not in your account hangar, but as if your purchased it in game), and it is 100% free. CIG dev in a stream last night mentioned the Cutlass that got rewarded was a "common drop", meaning there's some sort of rarity pool, with the F8C I'm assuming at the Rare/Epic end of the spectrum.

Talk about disappointment. 2 S5 might have some use when armor is added to the game (which I think isn't even slated for 1.0?) but downgrading one to a S3 makes the Guardian QI unlikely to outperform the Mantis or Drake Cutlass. Especially since it seems to be slow, a strange choice for a Mirai ship.

@@checkfortunnelsits a game mode in pyro. You have no clue what a game mode is, it’s not limited to arena commander or whatever. A game mode could also be a specific mission or interaction where players have to play with certain rules that normally dont apply and there is usually a conclusion like a reward, and then the whole thing resets. And this is exactly what is happening. And for reference, engineering gameplay is a feature, that expands on the functionalities of the ship. And this was planned long in advance. This new game mode was not. It doesn’t add anything to critical functionalities, it does not improve current systems, its just more fluff for nothing… while other actual more important features are being risked to be ready for 4.0 release and probably being pushed back to a later date. CIG is absolutely notorious for its scope creep, and thats all I am pointing out.

@@pawe6199 Last night i was in a capital battle with 6 fully crewed Polaris on 500 player servers with a pegged 30 server FPS. I may be biased because when i started playing 2 years ago we had 50 player servers, no 30k protection and frequent 30k's, frequent wipes, can exit combat by just quitting game, and cargo was just a jpeg in the hold of our ships. Ive seen totally broken patches. Bring it on.

@@pawe6199 In the runup to 3.18 i saw comments - you can look up YT vids on the topic, right now - saying 'whats the big deal? - banks, casinoes, netflix and a ton of other companies and industries use Graph Databases.. CIG isnt doing anything new or special' ... but ALL the industries combined dont have the data volume of SC - so their service providers hardware got fried the day that 3.18 went live because that day = the highest load a graph database ever took on. New hardware had to be patented and engineered and it took a couple months until all of that was built to handle the 'real world' demand vs what was predicted. 3.18 situation? .. List the things that 4.0 has that could burn up their graph database service providers hardware and lock people out of the game for a couple months. long ahead of 3.18 they said of all of the steps leading to Dynamic Server Meshing - the Hardest will be the Persistent Entity Graph ..because they will have to convert Every object, entity and line of code to now run through this persistent entity graph. Server Meshing and Dynamic Server meshing is a walk in the park by comparison - it sure wont melt the servers.. Lets check back this weekend when it goes to open ptu - then lets check back when it goes live and see if we have a '3.18 situation'

There are a bunch of warbond CCUs available for maybe a couple more weeks, and it would be nice to know what to chain off of. Or whether it's worth chaining. 1:12 "grand prize - account bound ship's components" - I very much dislike this CIGs idea to mix FPS and ship combat gameplay everywhere. Both gameplays are very different and not all players even like both. IRL you either a good pilot or a good grunt. No one sends F35 pilots to spec ops tasks or vice versa. It always annoyed me when doing BH missions as a pilot if I was sent to a cave or bunker. In addition, this system of multi-level door access to loot automatically forces group FPS gameplay, which makes things even worse. I don't want to play wow-style FPS guild raids in SC.

I know hell of a lot about ship models, their specs, hitpoints, speed and acceleration values, shield resistances and absorption, burst and sustained DPS specs, how projectile type, speed or spread effects DPS at certain distances, how to maneuver to diminish DPS, how and when use manual gimbals and when not use them, how when and why to straferoll or strafeyaw, how to use decoupled or VTOL in a dogfight, how to power of Eclipse radar to become untargetable at 500m, what is missile terminal phase and how to use it properly, how to oneshot with missiles from ambush and how to avoid it. NONE of this knowledge makes any sense in FPS gameplay. Just ZERO. so I honestly do not understand why I should spend hours/days of time and efforts competing in team FPS with other players to get better ship components.
