Hi sir, I have a doubt, add client pc in vm ware and make rule for lan to wan in firewall. Add dns on client pc i can access internet but when i check the log viewer all are in invalid traffic. I turned off computer firewall also.

Hi when i ping the 8.8.8.8 it says host unreachable so my browser keeps giving an error message how do I correct this?

You have to check your WAN Interface Configuration and VM Network Adapters Configuration and if you have assign right network adapter to Sophos Interfaces.

Why i can't "PING" The LAN from outside. For example : My virtual PC-1 : 192.168.8.143 My virtual sophos WAN : 192.168.8.139 My virtual sophos LAN : 172.168.100.1/24 My Virtual PC-2 LAN Sophos : 172.168.100.3 My virtual PC-2 (Sophos LAN) can ping my PC-1 (outside LAN) and can to open google, youtube, etc. But my PC-1 cant to ping PC-2.

The firewall allows connections from LAN interfaces to public networks (WAN) and prohibits them in the opposite direction. Can you please explain why you kept virtual PC1 in WAN network and what is the purpose of this? What exactly is your requirement?

You're doing mistake. Please refer my series from beginning (Tutorial 1). It will help you to design network properly.

Pls configure your both PC's in same network i.e., private & turn off the firewall on both PC's.

Or follow the topology in the video & just check your WAN IP i.e., your physical machine IP, and assign it to the Sophos WAN e.g, if your physical machine IP is 192.168.100.50 then assign Sophos WAN IP like 192.168.100.100, or any other than .50 & turn on the ping service in Administration tab -> Device access -> Ping -> WAN -> check box.
