I'll post it here: 40gr CCI Blazer 36gr Winchester Western 40gr Federal Automatch 40gr Mini Mags The 36gr western is the only ammo I get supersonic cracks out of (because it's slightly lighter and therefore faster)

Is the barrel 4.5" long from end to end or from one end to something else? For example from one end to the other but not including the muzzle threads?

Bolt face when chamber closed to end of the barrel. Just like any other barrel is measured.

Barrels are always measured as if you drop a cleaning rod down the muzzle with the action locked and you measure the amount of rod that went in. The sole exception to this convention are revolvers, which is measured from the muzzle to the forcing cone. You don't include the cylinder length into the equation.

Try the kidd recoil spring polished guild rod kit helps alot with reliability especially when running subs with a short barrel I run the 10% reduced spring in mine .

Best deal is to get your standard barrel cut, crowned and threaded down to 4.5" by class 3 machining.

What he said, but rather than sending it out to be done, do it yourself. Use a hacksaw or ideally an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel to cut down the barrel, buy an annular cutter to create a shoulder and the proper diameter for the threads, then a TAT and a 1/2x28mm die to run threads down. Filed down the muzzle flat with a file, then rub some lapping compound on a brass round headed bolt with a slot cut down it, and run it against the muzzle to establish the crown. In theory it isn't as good as a lathe operation, but I have a lathe and I still do it by hand sometimes because it is convenient (you don't have to remove the barrel which can be a pain on other firearms) and you really don't see a practical difference in group size at the end of the day. Isn't as much work as you think, and will allow you to do these kinds of barrel threading operations for a bunch of other firearms you probably own or will want to thread in the future.

Yeah, we purposely cut down the barrel to keep bullets subsonic for suppressor use.

@@PETERPARKERPECKER Not supposed to put a vertical grip on a pistol or it turns it into an AOW. You can use the slightly canted vertical grip like BCM makes. This being said, I don't care if people infringe on gun laws. Gun laws itself are an infringement on the supreme law. I may not do it, but I'm not going to tell people that they can't do it.

You can always use a fake silencer, or one of the muzzle compressor flash cans to serve as a barrel extension. My suggestion is to use one of those solvent traps and just leave the endcap and baffles out. This is legal, but also gives you a practical alternative if WORL.

I don't get it. What is the point of the PMACA chassis if you already own a Charger? It's a pretty expensive add-on, Cerakote option makes it even more expensive, the Charger lets you add AR grips already and a $50 Copper Customs adapter lets you add any AR stock. Why buy this?

Copper custom adapter and a regular chassis adds length. Plus you cant put a suppressor on a stock chassis after cutting down the barrel without heavy modding.
