As part of the Aston Martin Owners Club I've had a full tour of these cars at HWM in Walton on Thames and I've seen one on the road in the Cotswolds....the engineering in this thing is on a whole different level. Windscreen wiper designed in collaboration with NASA from data taken from the space shuttle. The tiny high level brake light at the rear had to be made bigger purely because they couldn't fit the CE mark on the original design as it was even smaller. The engine packaging and the whole aero is nuts. Full intercom between driver and passenger as the noise levels inside are to great ro hear speech.... Its a truly jaw dropping car, not for the way it looks but for the no compeomise attitude to its design and sticking to the brief that was set and applied by Adrian Newey amongst others.

James my friend, just watching your reaction in car and then watching the way that car was attacking the corners from the exterior shots, lemme tell you, I can empathize with what you must have been experiencing. I’ve been in a g-force simulator and you are very right, most people have no idea the sort of physical demands these forces put on the body. Going past what is an incremental and brief event and feeling the g’s as a sustained load can be wildly disconcerting to say the least. To mentally be beyond that engagement of force to operate a car like this with precision is an INCREDIBLY impressive feat that can only be truly appreciated by having felt the demands of these forces. Friggin awesome stuff. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

the only car i've ever ridden in that i simply could not hold up my neck. same unit you were in, same seat as a passenger... we went around laguna seca for hypercar invitational with the aston test driver. on the second lap we did a 1:19.. which is 10 seconds off the record set by Marc Gene in the Ferrari v10 F1 car from the 90's. there were corners where you just forget to breath.. the entry and then also exit speed.. with no scrub..like being pulled by a chain in full swing. truly unreadl. a small part of me was glad when it was over... i was absolutely exhausted. (embarrassing to admit that as a car guy)😅 nothing i've ever felt was that intense as the Valkyrie AMR Pro. I have a bunch of video i need to stitch together to upload from that day.
