I think the main thing why Twitter is so different is because there is no video/voice. Why youtube and instagram works so well is because when you watch/hear someone you feel like you build a connection with them. I used to have a big youtube channel and people used to literally come to me and act like we are friends and they know me. It's hard to build that connection when you are just reading text. As you mentioned there are a lot of Twitter accounts killing it with 'knowledge' tweets. But people fall in love with personalities and not necessarily with the info. The solution... adding video..? Twitter did mention that they might be pushing video content

Twitter doesn't have the multi-media platform to make this play, it's basically static web 1.0. At best it's more about leveraging great writing on Twitter to push to a different platform.

About Thiel Fellowship, it sure has produced some multi billion dollars companies but most of their fellows have been basically using the fellowship as a college application achievement and go on from studying at a community college, dropping out for fellowship and then getting into an Ivy League. So yeah it's a very different game.

I am an owner of a startup building something related to the Deep Fake but way more accessible. We already have a working product and we are running a close beta. We are looking to narrow our product to a niche. E-learning at the moment, but honestly the possibilities are endless. Sadly VCs in my do not make investments in seed phaze startups so we are bootstrapping. However, the market perspective looks great.

Yes, AI is changing the world in this very moment. There are tons of ai tools already speeding up things dramatically and this is just the beginning. We are at the start of a new era! My idea for a startup already two years ago was an AI that produces movies. Imagine Netflix backed by an AI where the movie production always optimizes itself! 🤯

How do you monetise twitter presence? apart from maintstream ideas such as newsletter, merch brands, generating leads for business. KZbin as ad rev which, for most youtubers, contributes more revenue than other sources like merch or patreon links. Thoughts for twitter monestisation?
