Alabama's final drive of this game was something to behold. LSU got a gift from Alabama to cut the score to 30-16 with 9 plus minutes to go, and Alabama just ran out the clock. They did the same thing against LSU last year, when they got the ball up 7-0 in the 4th, and almost ran out the clock to get a FG to go up 10-0. They did it to Auburn last year and Florida in 2009. That's just good football. Roll Tide!

Les Miles was sometimes an idiot (but a lucky idiot), but more often brilliant (though not so lucky then). I wonder how long it will be before LSU wishes they had him back.

@@joeblow2069 Both Alabama and LSU have tried the "blind monkey" thing. They were not as successful as you suggest. That said, LSU has done fine without Les Miles, and subsequent disclosures mean that no one wants anything to do with him now.
