Repent of your sins and believe on Adonai Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that He has died for sins and rose from the tomb on the third day and let the Holy Spirit within you, and you shall be saved. - Jesus the Christ loves, praise YHWH our Elohim - Evidence for Jesus Christ’s existence, crucifixion, and disappearance from the tomb (He rose from it): The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the tomb. To argue about wether He was taken from the grave or rose from it, is an argument a skeptic can make. Because well if you disregard the eye witness testimony of the disciples and there willingness to die for Christ, and humans won’t die for something they know is a lie, when Peter is pinned upside down to that cross, he could have said that it was a fake, but He didn’t because it wasn’t, what care would he have about death in this world if he knew for a fact he had assurance of a life in another, Jesus Christ did rise from the tomb and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Now the evidence for the Lord Jesus Christ’s existence really isn’t hard to find a multitude of non-Christian scholars and historians mention Him within 150 years after the time of His life. One such is Tacitus a Roman historian who reported on emperor nero’s decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed rome in 64 AD. Tacitus wrote: “Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…” In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative. Another important source of evidence about Jesus and early Christianity can be found in the letters of Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan. Pliny was the Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. In one of his letters, dated around A.D. 112, he asks Trajan's advice about the appropriate way to conduct legal proceedings against those accused of being Christians. Pliny says that he needed to consult the emperor about this issue because a great multitude of every age, class, and sex stood accused of Christianity. At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians: “They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.” This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians. First, we see that Christians regularly met on a certain fixed day for worship. Second, their worship was directed to Christ, demonstrating that they firmly believed in His divinity. Furthermore, one scholar interprets Pliny's statement that hymns were sung to Christ, "as to a god", as a reference to the rather distinctive fact that, "unlike other gods who were worshipped, Christ was a person who had lived on earth." If this interpretation is correct, Pliny understood that Christians were worshipping an actual historical person as God! Of course, this agrees perfectly with the New Testament doctrine that Jesus was both God and man. You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes: “About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.” Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it. But regardless he wrote about the Lord Jesus Christ. Wether it was negative or positive like the possible document is. Anyways there are many other statements, documents, letters, and writings of all sorts from the ancient world talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and there is not one question if He was a real person or if He was crucified and went missing from the grave. That is clear as day, He is a real person, was crucified, and went missing from the grave. And He did rise from the grave. And for more evidence of the Lord Jesus Christ, there’s the Bible and you see there is no evidence the Bible is corrupted, a lie, created by the Roman government, folktale. It is the recount of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, now wether you want to believe it is up to you. And what profit was there in spreading Christianity, All the early Christian suffered persecution, beatings, and were killed. Another Scholar reported that James the Lord’s Brother was thrown off a building and then stoned to death for spreading the Gospel in Jerusalem. These people went to great lengths even giving their own lives for the Adon Jesus the Christ.

@Requiemxtoxinnocence every act of goodness is ultimately an extension of our selfishness. And none of our actions will ever be good enough, because again we could still draw a line. And heaven is not a place where we try to get as many people to go it is a reward for those who believed.

@Requiemxtoxinnocence It is the nature of being human that has "our wires crossed". God has promised to restore us, and "uncross the wires" in the near future. In the mean-time, since it seems that you understand what is being offered--complete forgiveness of our rebellion from God--you are in a position to make a decision about your eternity. If you choose Jesus, the Christ (Messiah), you are recognizing that he has rescued you from the utter sinfulness of which we're all guilty. .

@Requiemxtoxinnocence He did allow us to be perfect, but we chose not to be. And we may be able to measure how good someone is, but that still leaves the question of how good do i have to be to go to heaven? May i ask what religion you are?
@crazyliclay
@crazyliclay 13 жыл бұрын
@Requiemxtoxinnocence but then you can say, "how good is good enough." And how would we know if we are good enough. The answer is that no one is good enough, and that's why Jesus came. to give his life so that in trusting in him our sins are wiped clean and we dont have to worry about it any more.
@crazyliclay

@Requiemxtoxinnocence It's what you stand for that defines you. And if your willing to stand for what is right, even in the face of adversary, then you should be rewarded. And it's not just a thought, it is a complete way of life. those who have been saved have accepted his sacrifice, and are separated from their sin, but those who dont accept it are eternally bound to it. I'll pray for you.

@Requiemxtoxinnocence Once you choose Christ, and follow Him, he will never disown you. You don't have the domain of the angels, so falling from Heaven is out of this realm of reality (for now). Once you pursue God, you will understand why He gave his only Son, and why He is the only way - John 3:16, 14:6

@Requiemxtoxinnocence But the point is not to get more people; the point is to get the right people. Heaven is a place for those who believed that Jesus is the son of God and was the sacrifice for our sins.

@mabraham1 No I know why, to forgive humanity for sins which started with humanity trying to gain knowledge and god held a thousand year grudge against his creation. But I don't see this as justice, for if god was he would have to take responsibility for his part in the ordeal. But killing someone innocent for someone else's problems is not the answer. Why not allow humans to be born pure and free and able to redeem themselves with every good action?
@RequiemNocturne1
@RequiemNocturne1 13 жыл бұрын
@crazyliclay How can you honestly say that? People aren't good because they expect a reward(mostly), the whole of our existence relies upon our coexistence with the earth and with the living creatures, otherwise everything falls into disorder. Heaven is for belief? Do you not see the fault in throwing away countless people into hell over such a thing as a thought. It is your actions and words that define you, more so than any belief.
@RequiemNocturne1
@RequiemNocturne1 13 жыл бұрын
@crazyliclay But that takes away responsibility for actions if you put all your faults on someone else. I would think you could be able to measure goodness based upon actions as well, as well all know faith in certain deities does not hinder people from doing good or either. But the how good is good enough also brings up another question as to why god views just people as despicable because they cannot be perfect based upon their being. why not simply allow humans to ascend to perfection?

@LetReasonPrevail1 -- No, God doesn't have a problem with women's periods... He's saying that when we try to use our good works to justify ourselves before God, He sees our "good works" as disgusting attempts to bribe Him.

@crazyliclay Why can I not simply live my life how I wish without having to worry about having faith? It just makes no sense if I define myself with good actions then aren't my actions technically more justifiable than my belief? Whatever my sin is just seems to be a part of human nature so doing that would make us no longer humans. But whatever...peace.

@SkyDiverLynx That wasn't really arguing against what I said. Is asking for a decent reply too much for you? How exactly was The Bible written by men to help them control others? I don't know if you ever studied history, but these people were tortured for believing the things that they did. If they really didn't think it was true, they wouldn't be getting power any time in their life and they would have no reason to be tortured.
@RequiemNocturne1

@crazyliclay I thought the whole point was to save most of humanity though, if not your ends would not justify the means. And if convicted criminals can be forgiven why would not simply allow your average non-believer who hasn't done any crimes into heaven? I know faith is important and all but why not judge men by their actions instead of their beliefs, people do good because they are good not because some god is going to punish or reward them it's from the kindness within.

@crazyliclay I'm an agnostic but I guess if anything you could call me something close to a buddhist. The problem with this is if we choose jesus and go to heaven there is still the potential to fall from heaven just as the demons did given that you would still have free will and if evil and free will are linked then heaven would not be a fully pure place. As for how good, why not simply lower your standards to humanly instead of godly? It would solve your problem and you'd have more people.

@soccerdanny4 the verse there seas "repent your sins and they will be forgiven" ? you realize that it teaches NON of the responsibility, meaning you can do WHATEVER and just ask for forgiveness and you will be forgiven, this is immature on such EPIC level! religion does NOTHING in teaching how to behave, or how to be good to another!

@SkyDiverLynx I don't know what you are talking about....that's not the verse I was telling him to read. The Bible speaks of an omniscient (hopefully not too big of a word for you) being, meaning God knows exactly our intentions and if for example, I plan on killing someone, planning to ask for forgiveness later.But I do hope your anger for people who are religious shows people who read the comments on this video who really causes hatred or anger between the religious and the not.

@soccerdanny4 Mother Teresa promoted that condoms wore a sin, she is responsible for countless deaths across Africa, Doctor Martin Luther King did a grate achievement for all man kind, which he still would have done if wouldn't have been reverand. Bible stories are ridiculous, untrue and false. I don't need some one to tell me to be nice to others, nor i need reward for doing so, i do it because i like it.
@SkyDiverLynx

@soccerdanny4 i don't say nor try to say that i am better then Teresa, don't twist my words. Doctor Martin Luther King, done that because he was a good person, did you forgot that it was idea of religion - slavery and MLK opposed it, why?, clearly his ideas did not come from the Bible on this subject why you mentioning a a very religious men -Hitler? and his believes in God and his doing in Gods name?
@soccerdanny4
@soccerdanny4 13 жыл бұрын
@SkyDiverLynx I didn't twist your words, Mother Teresa is responsible for countless, but you are not, doesn't that make you a better person? Slavery was the idea of religion? That's a new one. Christianity is what said all men are equal because all were created equal. What about Hitler? Search 'Hitler Christianity Quotes' and you will find he really thought about Christianity or religion all together for that matter. How bout Stalin?How bout Mao? Both atheists.Is atheism bad then?

@SkyDiverLynx Yea, beliefs like, 'Love your neighbor' and 'Treat others like you want to be treated' disgusting evil beliefs right? I'm sure your beliefs are the real moral one. Now how bout you read the Bible instead judging a religion based on what a few people do to get power. Nothing good? Mother Teresa did more than you could ever hope to do in your life. Reverand Martin Luther King did a lot to help too, but these people were really evil weren't they?

This is PATHETIC. This dude actually has the gall to quote the bible as saying "God views our rigtheousness as FILTHY RAGS in god's sight" Then he goes on to compound his idiocy by emphasizing (with a smug grin) that "filthy rags" literally means "menstrual rags". The only thing this proves is that the writers of the bible were ignorant, misogynistic jerks. What does GOD have against female periods? It's a natural part of a women's biological nature. Get a clue.

@SkyDiverLynx Mother Teresa also saved countless lives across the world and I frankly think it is funny that you are actually trying to say you are a better person than Mother Teresa. I don't think you can say what MLK would or would not have done, because you don't know, because you are not a fortune teller, unless you are God, which you claim doesn't exist. you claim you don't need someone to tell you to be nice to others or do you need a reward for it, why do you like doing it?

@soccerdanny4 There is no such being as god, his son was never walking on this earth. Noah never existed, nor he builded a boat to carry 1.7 million species, two of each,not including insects 3-30 million, without which life on earth would not be possible. Bible was written by men to help them control other men to make them do what they want. all religions are a big lie. it's not a question of faith, there is no faith, there is only convinced and controlled mind.

I like how you smile while explaining how utterly worthless you are within your belief system. It's so cynical it makes me sick. If the doctrine preaches about humans being so disgusting to God, then why believe it? Do we owe God just for being born into this world? I would say this is just a sick ploy of breaking normal human beings down in order to force them to grasp for the seemingly first thing that will accept them, Christianity. This is disturbing.
@SkyDiverLynx

@soccerdanny4 you don't get it do you? Religion and your believes are pure EVIL, it is been poisoning my human race for too long, it is enough, there is NOTHING good that came from religion, only wars, genocides, condemning of innocent, mass massacres, rape of children, body mutilation.all in the name of a being that never existed nor ever will. and yes i do hate religion for all that it has done and all that it is continue to do.
