Rooted cuttings from Europe, good quality and price, you might find some plug material round the roots when you repot it

Bought one of these from B&Q in 2014. Put it in a hole in the ground and left it in my parents back yard! The trunk is now ridiculously thick! I’m hoping to prune it today I might be slightly late but it’s only been trimmed back and not properly pruned.. so hopefully it’ll be in good nick this summer

Defo recommend it to be grown in full shade though as it scorches very very easily

Nice work! I've got a video (I think it's titled katsura and orange dream or something similar) which shows you some of these which I bought from B&M last year which have been in the ground. I also did a clump style with the same plants from Morrisons a couple of weeks ago and they have bounced back from being almost bare-rooted really well. Apparently, they are grown in some type of commercial greenhouses which is why they come into leaf early. Also, you should wire this up for sure. So long as you use a loose coil and don't leave it on for too long, the tree will be absolutely fine and it will allow you to give it a bit of shape.
