I have been following John his entire racing career, first as a fan and then as a fellow racer. I ran a fuel dragster while John ran Top Fuel then Funny Cars . I met and talked to him thru the years and is a great guy, family man and racer. Keep on keepin’ on John Force .

Met John at Pomona one year in the pits.My son wanted to take a picture of John and I. My son told John it was my birthday and he shook my hand and acted like we had been friends a long time. Been watching John race a long time. He is a drag racing icon and a really nice person! I really admire what he has done in the sport of drag racing.Great documentary.Thank you.

Now, I'm pretty sure I never missed anything on TV from John Force...but somehow I missed the part of this interview when he said he was handicapped. Then I hear he had polio. Maybe I did miss this video? I honestly never heard that and I've been a big Force fan since he started having success.

John Force is incapable of being boring. He's also a tough son of a bitch -- the fact that he climbed back into a funny car at age 59 after that horrible 2007 crash at Ennis, Texas tells you all you need to know about his dedication to his sport.

Castrol makes lots of good Products but back in 1975 I tried to save money. I would buy a quart of Castrol two stroke oil at K-mart for 75 cents .. I would melt the rings in my 1974 Yamaha YZ-80 with GYT KIT .. I had to pay a lot more for a pint of Bell-Ray or Golden Specro.. Some times you have learn the hard way

Funny how everybody thinks John is a family man. He spent his life being a “gypsy”, his words not mine, on the road away from home. His wife raised three girls by herself, she gets all the credit for that as being a parent is a lot harder than being a celebrity racer! John is an extreme narcissist and this story explains why. Narcissism is triggered by a child’s emotional needs not being met. He lived in a tiny trailer house with several siblings while his parents focus was on work and surviving. Poor dude never got any individual attention. His narcissistic personality disorder makes him put himself before his family! If he wasn’t narcissistic he would resent his parents neglecting him and would have chosen a lifestyle that would have allowed him to be with his kids on a daily basis!
