Thank you. Thank you, Tori Ann, for reminding me (in my 2nd yr homeschooling, but 1st with two kids) that how I’m feeling and what I’m doing is normal - constantly wondering and learning and questioning and researching. It can be so exhausting, but I am seeing growth. I also needed that reminder that many of the kids arguments or rejections I have to face are about something being new - facing the unknown is often scary, not always exciting.

ToriAnn Perkey in the motivation formula you included a recording talking about imagining your child’s future. I have all the links still but could you point me to which module?

Consistently evaluating... that is so good. Is that the point? To see what works for our family and what doesn't? Love it.

Hi ToriAnn, I just found your channel and I love it, but I just found out the most recent video was uploaded 2 years ago. I hope you are doing well in these two years when you didn't post any video, and I'm sure you will have tons of subscriptions if you find time to continue updating you channel. I am sending my love your way!

I don't see why the father can't be involved in homeschooling. If he works the whole day, he can still teach when he gets off, right? I'd like to teach my kids. (I don't have any yet, and I'm not sure for how long the government will allow homeschooling, because I'm a little nervous they'll take that away from parents.) I don't like history, social studies or government, but, I wish my wife does. She can teach that part, and the early education, maybe (because young children prefer their mothers more). I'd be happy to teach math and science. And writing and reading. I think the reason things are jumbled up as much as they are for homeschool parents, is that, in school, it's a one-size-fits-all curriculum. That's why homeschooling is better! I don't want to 'farm out' my kids! I want to develop them, as their father. I want to give them a religious education, not a secular education, which does not seem to measure up, in practicality, nowadays. I don't plan on allowing my kids extracurricular activities, because I want to focus more on family, at least before they can drive. I feel we'll be busy enough! especially after what you said. It is very important to me that my children grow up to be strong Christians!!
