The letters of nimrod are out of alefbetacle order. His name tells a lot about who and what he was. Thanks for spelling it out in the sand.

HalleluYAHWEH 😢this was so profound today’s letter Ps 119:25-32. HE is the (door) dalet. Kan we are out door out order out side. Todah Yahweh for your teachings for with each letter the flood gates rushes in of my past to allow me to make sense of a lot of things. Ayahah striving to please Yahweh on my daily walk #grateful I open the dalet(door) to Asher learn the Aleph Bet. I got your knock knock joke which in its own right is enlightening; I believe you are saying when we daily knock on the door dalet in search of Yahweh HE will open with proverbial cashyou(cashew) needed a seed bearing everlasting life. To strive & survive every day of our lives we need to knock at Yahweh dalet, everyday we need to seek his everlasting word that goes out and never returns void and everyday since the beginning His son Yahshua stands at the 🚪dalet with anticipation that we enter into YAH Sovereign King eternal rest here on earth and abide living this Kingdom living with the essence of Hebrew❤

😆 The jokes worked for me! Thank you so much for this series. Since finding out about the paleo hebrew, I was always convinced that each 'modern' hebrew letter kept its original meaning! In my circle, I'm the only one who believes this! I hadn't seen your video until today; I used the same example as in your aleph video for the word av, to explain my belief about 3 weeks ago! Although I'm an ex-christian who believes in Tanach only now, I really appreciate the meaning of each letter and words, and also Carlos' history lessons! HalleluYAH, I can't stop praising Yehovah for discovering your videos! Shalom 🙏🏾

I think your best bet is if you haven’t learned the 22 modern Hebrew characters, learn those and memorize the ancient symbols that correspond to those characters. When you see this letter (alef) א think bull, when you see this letter (bet) ב think house. Then, you can just read the Bible online in Hebrew, no other resources needed. You’ll be looking at the modern script, but you’ll “see” it in paleo. I’ll try to explain that better in our next Q&A vid. Thanks for watching.

"The dreamlike spell of this contemplative, metaphysically orientated tradition, where light and darkness dance together in a world - creating cosmic shadow play, carries into modern times and image that is of incalculable age. In its primitive form it is widely known among the jungle villages of the broad equatorial zone that extends from Africa eastward, through India, southeast Asia, and Oceania, to Brazil, where the basic myth is of a dreamlike age of the beginning, where there was neither death nor birth, which, however, terminated when a murder was committed. The body of the victim was cut up and buried. And not only did the food plants on which the community lives arise from those buried parts, but on all who ate of their fruit the organs of reproduction appeared; so that death, which had come into the world through a killing, was countered by its opposite, generation, and the self-consuming thing that is life, which lives on life, began its interminable course.... For the West, however, the possibility of such an egoless return to a state of soul antecedent to the birth of individuality has long since passed away; and the first important stage in the branching off can be seen to have occurred in that very part of the nuclear Near East where the earliest god - kings and their courts had been for centuries ritually entombed: namely Sumer, where a new sense of the separation of the spheres of god and man began to be represented in myth and ritual about 2350 BC. The king, then, was no longer a god, but a servant of the god, his Tenant Farmer, supervisor of the race of human slaves created to serve the gods was unremitting toil. And no longer identity, but relationship, was the paramount concern. Man had been made not to be God but to know, honor, and serve him; so that even the king, who, according to the earlier mythological view, had been the chief embodiment of divinity on Earth, was now but a priest offering sacrifice in tendance to One above - not a god returning to himself in sacrifice to Himself. The earliest prophet of this mythology of cosmic restoration was, apparently, the Persian Zoroaster, whose dates, however, have not been securely established. They have been variously placed between c. 1200 and c. 550 BC, so that, like Homer(of about the same span of years), he should perhaps be regarded rather as symbolic of a tradition than a specifically, or solely, one man. The system associated with his name is based on the idea of a conflict between the wise lord, Ahura-Mazda," first father of the Righteous Order, who gave to the sun and stars their path," and an independent evil principal, Angra Mainyu, the Deceiver, principle of the lie, who, when all had been excellently made, entered into it in every particle."[The Masks of God: Oriental Mythology, Joseph Campbell, Ch. 1: Signatures of The Four Great Domains, pg. 4,6-7]

Didn't Nimrod have the aprons of Adam and Eve that they brought out of Eden, that Noah had, it's said that Ham took the aprons when Noah cursed his son, so that makes Nimrod hams grandson, but it was written that the aprons had power and whoever wore them would have power, so it's also written that Esau killed nimrod and took the aprons from nimrod, hence the day he sold his birthrite for a bowl of chili

Just one small correction. During the intro you misquoted the proverbs 25. It goes: It is the GLORY of God to conceal a thing, But the HONOUR of kings is to search out a matter. A small error but I thought I'd mention it in the interest of accuracy

"As early as 1767 a French Jesuit in India, Father Coerdoux, had observed that Sanskrit & Latin were remarkably alike. Sir William Jones (1746-1794).... was the next to observe the relationship, & from a comparative study of the grammatical structures of Latin, Greek, & Sanskrit concluded that that all three had "sprung," as he phrased it, "from some common source, which perhaps no longer exists." Franz Bopp (1791-1867), published in 1816 a comparative study of the Sanskrit, Greek, Latin, Persian, & Germanic systems of conjugation. And finally, by the middle of the century is was perfectly clear that a prodigious distribution of closely related tongues could be identified over the greater part of the civilized world: a single, broadly scattered family of languages that must have sprung from a single source, & which includes, besides Sanskrit & Pali (the language of Buddhist scriptures), most of the tongues of northern India as well as Singhalese (the language of Ceylon), Persian, Armenian, Albanian, & Bulgarian; Polish, Russian, & the other Slavic tongues; Greek, Latin & all the languages of Europe except Estonia, Finnish, Lapp, Magyar, & Basque. Thus the continuum from Ireland to India had been revealed. And not only the languages, but also the civilizations & religions, mythologies, literary forms & modes of thought of the peoples involved could be readily compared: for example, the Vedic pantheon of ancient India, the Eddic of medieval Iceland, & the Olympian of the Greeks.... The discovery appeared to indicate that the most productive, as well as philosophically mature, constellation of peoples in the history of civilization had been associated with this prodigious ethnic diffusion; for it seemed that even in the Orient, the homeland of many darker races, it had been the lighter-skinned Indo-Aryans who had given the chief impulse to the paramount cultural trend..." [The Masks of God: Primitive Mythology, Joseph Campbell, 1991, Prologue]

Great video. Quick question; @5:30 you allude that the Phoenicians borrowed the paleo-Hebrew and improved upon it. However, the first known Phoenician inscriptions date to the 11th century B.C.E. while the first inscriptions of Hebrew date to the 10th century B.C.E. Which means, the Phoenician alphabet would predate the Hebrew alefbet. Therefore, is it more plausible that paleo-Hebrew burrowed from the Phoenician alphabet, and not vice-versa? Thank you!

@originalhebrewseries There is a video around about the textual variants. For an accurate dating of pre- and postflood events and for the sojourn of Avraham's decendents in Canaan a n d Egypt one cannot just bypass texts that go back to the older source texts (i e. LXX var., Flavius Josephus, Samaritan Pentateuch) and early Mesopotamian (Sumerian, Akkadian) and Egyptian documents. The biblical texts are enough and sufficient to be sure. One still has to compare them. (In some cases - see El Shaday e.g. - they preserved the better reading (in Gen and Ex): Your God and Their God for the God of Avraham, Isaac, and Jacov.

Shalom @@hans.stein. grateful to see your comment, thank you for sharing what you have been shown. This discrepancy between masoretic and septuagint texts has recently been revealed to me as well when I was researching about pyramids. There is an interesting theory behind it, and challenges a lot of perceived knowledge. On another note (made an edit) - I came here because I was interested on learning more about Mount Hor, where Aaron was gathered with his people. I am learning that mount is the root word Hor; subsequently, have a dalet and a hey, I read The door. Is this why so many sacrifices occurred on mountains, because they are doors?

So... question: in the old testament Gentiles are often referred to as "dog" but is that really what it meant or was it "dag" because dogs have both positive and negative attributes and fish have both positive and negative attributes but there's a huge difference between between fish and what we think of as dogs. I ask because if His "sheep" know His voice than fish would be in a totally different realm and I think I may have made this more than it is but I can't help wondering so just, do you have any thoughts?
@originalhebrewseries
@originalhebrewseries Жыл бұрын
Shalom. Thanks for the question. I have not come across any Old Testament Scriptures referring to Gentiles as dogs. Maybe you're thinking about the new testament Scripture where YASHUA heals the Canaanite woman's daughter? (The one where HE says HE has come for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and "It is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs.") If that's what you're referring to, I believe YASHUA may have been alluding to Enoch's parable of the animals - this was a vision that Enoch received where he saw the entire history of Israel, and Father showed it to him in parable form, where the different nations were represented by different animals. The dogs in that vision are identified as the ones who killed King Saul, meaning the Canaanites. I do not believe Father used dogs as an insult in that vision, nor did YASHUA use it as an insult in his words to the Canaanite woman, but rather, that dogs were used to represent them because they were the ones who, during the time of the Judges & Kings, tore the sheep (Israel) with their teeth. His people are from every nation, race and tongue, praise GOD. Shalom unto Jerusalem.
