I Have a question for you since you are the manufacturer. If I hook up a higher resolution camera for the rear (back up) camera will it record in the higher resolution? 480P is just no enough. 720p would be fine but 480 is not acceptable.

I'm not the manufacturer, I'm just sharing my experience with this dashcam. 480p is the default resolution for the rear cam. I've already hooked up a 720p rear cam with the same wire harness and it didn't work.

It's normal but if you want the screen always on,go to Menu / Screen Brightness and choose On. Advice : The screen should be set to turn off after minutes to prevent the unit from overheating (the battery is right behind the screen inside the camera and it get really hot in summer days)

The dual recording function is automatic, all you have to do is select witch second camera you want ( interior, or rear) in the menu. The audio sounds good compared to other mirror dashcam i have. And there is no possibility to improve it from the camera settings. Thanks for your comment.

Wifi is not supported on this dashcam. You need to take out the micro sd card to be able to watch the recordings .

فيها بطارية شدتها ضعيفة جدا لا تصلح للشحن والإستعمال وحدها. لكي تعمل الكاميرا يجب أن تكون متصلة بالشاحن على طول. الكاميرا الخلفية تعمل بالليل لكن لا تدعم الرؤية الليلية ، في الأماكن المظلمة لا تكون الصورة واضحة.

وعليكم السلام أخي ، العدسة الأمامية جيدة وجودة تصويرها ممتازة، أما الداخلية والخلفية جودتها مقبولة في ضوء النهار ، وسيئة عند حلول الظلام. لكن تبقى عملية على العموم 👍. جربت الكثير من كاميرات مرافبة السيارة، منها نزلت عن بعضها مقاطع على القناة ، إذا كنت تحتاج إلى اختيار أي نوع منها مستقبلا على الرحب والسعة أخي .

Red wire should be connected to the 12v reverse light wire to be able to see reverse lines on your camera screen. You can leave it disconnected if you want and use your screen camera normally when backing up.

How to disable the Lock option on videos because it turns on automatically even when I deactivate it. Locked videos don't get erased automatically, as a result, it asks you to format the SD Card.

Yes it's automatically saved for security and evidence if something happens suddenly so you don't have to search all the records,all the dashcams I've used have the same emergency recording settings. So all you have to do is format the sd card to completely erase the locked files 👍

@@KingABS thanks for the reply, I actually figured out how to deactivate the auto lock option. You have to disable the gravity sensor because it is the one that triggers the lock option in case of a car shock, the problem is when you are driving on bumpy roads it thinks that it's a car shock so it locks the video.

You connect it to your reverse light on the back of your taillight. You have to splice them together. After you do that, itll turn on when you put your vehicle in reverse.
