Awesome video Sobi! Gotta be my favorite overall channel out there. Just a tip when hanging deer, if you cut the back legs off like 4 inches under the knee, then skin it just past the knee, it makes getting the hanger in a lot easier, plus you can raise it higher if you want and when you decide to skin the deer, you already got a great starting point. Just my two cents! Keep putting out the awesome vids!

It was quiet down by us in 277. I missed a monster opening day, then I went five days without seeing a deer. Saw deer every day the rest of the season, but no good shots.

Its the low spots u want. Edge lines swamp walls transitions where bucks cruise. But hey? It can happen anywhere anytime. Stand location sign and cameras are ur best tools.

I'm in a shotgun only area myself in New York state Erie county. I hunt with a Remington 1187 premiere with a cantilevered scope mount on the slug barrel and a Nikon slug hunter with BDC reticle. I shoot the 12 gauge 2 3\4 premier accutips 385 grain. I've dropped deer out to 175 The scope says she'll do 250 but I don't really find any places to shoot that far and not sure I would. I dial her in at 100 yd though ...... they're some pretty hard-hitting slugs!
@JimBowSlice24 күн бұрын
I have the same nikon scope and shoot the same accutips out of my H&R ultra slug 12 guage. Spent alot of time on the bench and was shooting great out to 225. But I've backed off on those long range shots. Missed the same buck 2 times at 150. Totally on me.

Nice job filling multiple freezers. Really need to have gun cased in any motorized vehicle though from what I understand? I could be wrong?
@turnburnbeagles578922 күн бұрын
In the state of Minnesota, it's legal to have a firearm not cased while hunting or traveling to a range unless you travel through a town of 2,500 or more population.
