Thanks for letting me see a part of the world I’ve not been. I am too old to travel now (92). What a wonderful world we live in. A lot of The west has lost of its ability to cope in difficult circumstances. We have grown soft.

"We have grown soft" is exactly right! Yet we-Westerners still have an imagination as-incredible as for instance the Asian peoples. Just at a different level...

Good God...that was some adventure ye took us on...thanks by the way. Don't know bout ye two but I am shattered from virtually sitting on the bike with ye. Took ye few days but this viewer did it video time..bout an hour 😅. Huge kudos to you both and your full group, including those amazing bike drivers. Gosh that was a hairy drive but amazing. Ye met some good lovely people. The charitable side to the trip was tear inducing to be honest. School gifts meant so much to the teachers and children. The water tanks very obviously changed the daily lives of homes and families. Given by good people with kind hearts. Well done to all involved. Was great to see ye are fully recovered after a rewarding but grueling adventure. This Irish subscriber of yer channel really enjoyed the video.

Thank you Kylie and Guy for a wonderful tour of Vietnam , I can related to your sore bum situation and flexibility issues. two years ago I went on a camel trek in outback South Australia and found at 72 ,I was not up to it or sleeping in a swag on the ground. The sore bum issue was always a problem by day three of pushbike tours, I went on from 1990-1996 10-14 days with only one rest day some where near the middle but great fun. Now at 74 I have to content myself by watching the younger do these wonderful things and I have no funds left either.

(17:55) Teaching *good* handwriting is nearly a *must* given the multitude of differing diacritics! A 2-room school: much the same setup as we had in Indonesia for us, the foreign kids of the rubber plantation. Of course, we the rich kids (some sarcasm intended) wanted for nothing at *our* school...

Was that orange clay when wet as slippery as it appears? I've driven on clay roads that behaved more like skating rinks. The "off the beaten path" roads, especially that one heading to the school are 'sketchy' to say the least. It interesting to notice the mountains, they look like volcanic formations, dragon's teeth. Thank you for showing a different part of our world.
