Dinosaur National Monument, with its vast canyons, winding rivers, abundant wildlife, quality fossil record, and rich history, is one of the best kept secrets in Utah and Colorado.
With my van as basecamp, I spent four days exploring much of what Dinosaur has to offer.

Thanks for this video! I watched it to prepare for going and it revealed the shuttle that was super helpful so we could hike just one way. Wish we’d had more time to stay and see some of the Colorado side, but I loved this video. Thank you!

Fun fact: peak7071 in dinosaur national monument is a contender for Colorado's largest vertical wall along with the Diamond of Longs pk and painted wall of the black canyon. It has only been climbed once due to its remotness and loose nature and goes at a mid 5.10 grade.

Thank you for this great video, it's helping me plan my trip. One thing - the first time I came across a mountain lion, she was in fact chillin' in a tree so looking up for them is not silly. 😄
