ive used the paulas choice exfoliate for a yr, and ive never been red or feel like heat from it on my face. I don think its supposed to burn either, it says to stop if u feel that!!

i think it's bc i use tretinoin that it reacts like that... doesn't always get read or hot.. only when i used tret the night before. need to space it out more from the tret

It’s probably just because you got a bit too much sun that day. I use tret as well as it doesn’t affect the liquid exfoliant at all.
