It's end Sept '23. The weather is around 26-29C. Very pleasant, sunny with a breeze. I think visiting South East European countries are best to visit during shoulder seasons such as Sep, Oct, Apr, May, Jun. Less crowded. Weather a tad cooler than summer to convenience hiking. Bring good sun glasses/hat. Very strong sun rays

Did you visit Zadar in december? Was it warm there? I'm thinking of visiting in october..

I visited mid-August, it was pretty warm then, with temperatures averaging 33 degrees. Not sure how the weather is in October, though I think the weather might be more pleasant and durable than in the summer.
